EVALUASI RUTE DAN HALTE BUS TRANS GADJAH MADA MENGGUNAKAN BANTUAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS

        Penelitian ini berfokus pada efektifitas rute dan halte Bus Trans Gadjah Mada. Bus ini membantu civitas akademika untuk melakukan pergerakan di lingkungan kampus. Pergerakan ini membuat akan adanya penambahan, pemindahan, maupun pengurangan jumlah bus ataupun halte bus. Penelitian ini membantu dalam menyelesaikan hal tersebut. Efektifitas rute didapat berdasarkan bangkitan dan tarikan penumpang di UGM dan efektifitas halte didapat dengan keterjangkuan tiap halte untuk menjangkau area yang ditujukan berdasarkan analisis service area. Bangkitan penumpang didapat dari rasio jumlah penumpang dan civitas akademika UGM, tarikan penumpang didapat dari peta fungsi kawasan UGM, dan keterjangkauan halte didapat dari hasil service area 300 meter berdasar jarak dan 3,6 menit berdasar waktu dari tiap titik halte bus UGM ke unit yang sudah ditujukan. Bus Trans Gadjah Mada memiliki rute yang melewati ruas jalan sangat efektif, efektif, dan kurang efektif berdasarkan bangkitan dan tarikan penumpangnya. Ruas jalan sangat efektif melewati 7 ruas jalan yaitu Jalan Nusantara, Jalan Olahraga, Jalan Tevesia, Jalan Teknika, Jalan Kesehatan, Jalan Fauna, dan Jalan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Lima Rute yang efektif yaitu Jalan Persatuan, Jalan Pancasila, Jalan Olahraga, Jalan Grafika, dan Jalan Agro. Tiga Rute kurang efektif yaitu Jalan Terban, Jalan Colombo, dan Bundaran UGM. Bus Trans Gadjah Mada memiliki 33 halte telah menjangkau seluruh tujuan dari tiap berdirinya halte tersebut sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pemilihan titik tiap halte telah efektif menjangkau area yang menjadi sasaran halte tersebut. Masih ada 2 halte yang titik tempatnya kurang sesuai yaitu halte Peternakan dan Halte Pancasila. Keseluruhan halte sudah meliputi hampir seluruh kawasan UGM namun, hanya ada beberapa unit saja yang tidak tercakup yaitu MM Hotel UGM, Asrama Kinanti, unit DMKP Fisipol, dan sedikit bagian pada pojok Fakultas Peternakan yaitu pada Plaza Agro Gadjah Mada.

        This research focuses on the effectiveness of Trans Gadjah Mada Bus routes and bus stops. This bus helps the academic community to move around the campus. This movement makes it necessary to add, move, or reduce the number of buses or bus stops. This research helps to solve this problem. Route effectiveness is obtained based on the generation and attraction of passengers at UGM and the effectiveness of bus stops is obtained by the affordability of each bus stop to reach the designated area based on service area analysis. Passenger generation is obtained from ratio on the number of passengers and the UGM academic community, passenger attraction is obtained from the UGM area function map, and bus stop affordability is obtained from the results of a service area of 300 meters based on distance and 3.6 minutes based on time from each UGM bus stop point to the designated unit. UGM buses have routes that pass through very effective, effective, and less effective road sections based on the generation and attraction of passengers. Highly effective road sections pass through 7 road sections namely Jalan Nusantara, Jalan Olahraga, Jalan Tevesia, Jalan Teknika, Jalan Kesehatan, Jalan Fauna, and Jalan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Five effective routes are Jalan Persatuan, Jalan Pancasila, Jalan Olahraga, Jalan Grafika, and Jalan Agro. Three less effective routes are Terban Street, Colombo Street, and UGM Roundabout. Trans Gadjah Mada Bus has 33 bus stops that have reached all the destinations of each bus stop, so it can be said that the selection of the point of each bus stop has effectively reached the target area of the bus stop. There are still 2 bus stops with inappropriate locations, namely the Animal Husbandry Bus Stop and the Pancasila Bus Stop. The entire bus stop has covered almost the entire UGM area, however, there are only a few units that are not covered, namely MM Hotel UGM, Kinanti Dormitory, DMKP Fisipol unit, and a few parts at the corner of the Faculty of Animal Science, namely at Plaza Agro Gadjah Mada.
