Limboto lake which is located in Gorontalo Regency is one of special places to fulfiling daily needs, especially for resident people who have livelihood as farmers (rice field/farm) and fishermen (catching/cultivating). This research conducted in Gorontalo Regency focused on people lived around Limboto Lake. This Research was purposed to know how far community perception regards shallowness and narrowness of Limboto Lake, and how is their opinion to handling those problems. Analysis Method used in this research was descriptive analysis method and non parametric statistical analysis, meanwhile for variables using nominal and ordinal measure were analyzed descriptively (qualitative) with explaining data which were presented in the form of percentage tables. Analysis result shows that people (respondent) in surrounding Limboto Lake have positive correlation to the community perception. Spearman Correlation Analysis (rs) shows that coefficient value is 0,95 bigger than Spearman table value (ps). Appendix 1 shows that there is a strong value related to the community perception level both of knowledge and trust level amounted as 95 %. Research result concludes that the shallowness of Limboto Lake affects social income especially for farmer society and fishermen lived in surrounding Limboto Lake.
