Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peranan Big Five Personality Traits terhadap efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan dan total partisipan berjumlah 197 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Skala Career Decision Self Efficacy - Short Form (CDSE-SF) dan Skala Big Five Inventory versi bahasa Indonesia digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari Analisis regresi berganda ditemukan bahwa kelima dimensi dalam Big Five Personality Traits berperan signifikan secara simultan terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier. Kemudian, dimensi conscientiousness dan openness merupakan dimensi yang berkontribusi paling kuat terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier.
This study aims to examine the role of Big Five Personality Traits on career decision-making self-efficacy in final-year undergraduate students. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used and 197 participants were obtained who were final year students from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale - Short Form (CDSE-SF) and the Indonesian version of the Big Five Inventory Scale were used in this study. Multiple regression analysis showed that the five dimensions in Big Five Personality Traits played a significant role simultaneously on career decision-making self-efficacy. Partially, the Conscientiousness and Openness dimensions were the dimensions that contributed the most to career decision-making self- efficacy.
