Variasi Bahasa dalam Konten YouTube Leonardo Edwin: Kajian Sosiolinguistik

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasikan variasi bahasa, menjelaskan ciri-ciri dan faktor sosiokultural dalam penggunaan variasi bahasa pada konten YouTube Leonardo Edwin. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiolinguistik milik Chaer dan Agustina (2010) dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak teknik catat; analisis data menggunakan metode padan translasional dan padan pragmatis teknik komparasi, serta penyajian hasil dengan metode informal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah variasi dialek dan ragam santai lazim digunakan pada tayangn video tersebut yang dicirikan dengan adanya penggunaan diksi, struktur kalimat, serta kosakatanya yang dipengaruhi oleh profesi penutur, wilayah asal penutur, relasi usia penutur, serta situasi yang terjadi saat penutur berkomunikasi.

The purpose of this research is to classify language variation, explain the characteristics and sociocultural factors in the use of language variation on Leonardo Edwin's YouTube content. This research uses Chaer and Agustina's sociolinguistic theory (2010) with the method of data collection using the method of listening to note-taking techniques; data analysis using the method of translational equivalent and pragmatic equivalent of comparative techniques, and presentation of results with informal methods. The results of this study are the variation of dialect and the variation of casual commonly used in the video which is characterized by the use of diction, sentence structure, and the vocabulary which is influenced by the speaker's profession, the region where the speaker comes from, the age relations of the speaker, and the situation that occurs when the speaker communicates.
