PENGARUH JUMLAH PITA SERAT SUTRA Samia ricini TERHADAP MODULUS ELASTISITAS FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE

Fiber reinforced composite (FRC) merupakan salah satu material restorasi gigi yang tersusun atas matriks resin dan fiber. Fiber yang digunakan adalah serat sutra Samia ricini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah pita fiber Samia ricini terhadap modulus elastisitas FRC.
Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah resin komposit flowable (DenFil™ Flow, Vericom, Korea) dan serat sutra Samia ricini. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 kelompok sampel berbentuk balok (25x2x2) mm dengan variasi jumlah pita fiber Samia ricini. Kelompok I (0 pita fiber), Kelompok II (1 pita fiber), dan kelompok III (2 pita fiber). Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 6 sampel dengan pita fiber unidireksi. Modulus Elastisitas sampel diuji dengan Universal Testing Machine dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan one-way ANOVA kemudian dilanjutkan uji LSD (?=0,05).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata modulus elastisitas (MPa) kelompok I sebesar 1450,797 ± 129,717, kelompok II sebesar 1712,713 ± 130,391, dan kelompok III sebesar 1821,200 ± 265,444. Hasil uji one-way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh jumlah pita serat sutra Samia ricini yang bermakna terhadap modulus elastisitas fiber reinforced composite (p<0>Samia ricini berpengaruh terhadap modulus elastisitas fiber reinforced composite.
Fiber reinforced composite (FRC) is one of the dental restoration materials composed of resin and fiber matrix. The fiber used is Samia ricini silk fiber. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the number of Samia ricini fiber bands on the modulus of elasticity of FRC.
The materials used in this study were flowable composite resin (DenFil™ Flow, Vericom, Korea) and Samia ricini silk fiber. This study used 3 groups of block-shaped samples (25x2x2) mm with variations in the number of Samia ricini fiber bands. Group I (0 fiber bands), Group II (1 fiber band), and Group III (2 fiber bands). Each group consisted of 6 samples with unidirectional fiber bands. The modulus of elasticity of the samples was tested with a Universal Testing Machine and the data obtained were analyzed with one-way ANOVA then continued with the LSD test (?=0.05).
The results showed that the average modulus of elasticity (MPa) of group I was 1450.797 ± 129.717, group II was 1712.713 ± 130.391, and group III was 1821.200 ± 265.444.
