Pengaruh hipnosis lima jari terhadap penurunan kecemasan pasien kanker leher rahim di ruang kandungan RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya

Latar Belakang:Insiden kanker leher rahim di Indonesia masih menduduki peringkat pertama di antara kanker ginekologis. Pasien kanker leher rahim mengalami kecemasan karena rahim mempunyai arti biologis dan psikologis tertentu bagi wanita. Apabila kecemasan berat dan lama dapat menurunkan sistem kekebalan tubuh. Dengan demikian diperlukan cara yang efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh hipnosis lima jari terhadap penurunan kecemasan pasien kanker leher rahim. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini Quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri 30 orang yang diberi perlakuan hipnosis lima jari dan 30 orang tidak diberi perlakuan. Sampel dipilih dengan simple random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Analisis data untuk mengetahui perbedaan kecemasan dengan paired samples test, sedang untuk menguji pengaruh hipnosis lima jari dengan Independent samples test dengan taraf signifikansi p=0,05. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pada karakteristik umur, pendidikan dan lama berobat antara kedua kelompok (p>0,05). Terdapat perbedaan kecemasan yang bermakna (p<0,05) antara kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan dengan yang tidak. Pasien kanker leher rahim yang mendapat hipnosis lima jari mempunyai rerata kecemasan yang lebih rendah dari pasien yang tidak mendapat hipnosis lima jari. Hasil uji menunjukkan hipnosis lima jari mampu menurunkan kecemasan pasien kanker leher rahim dengan p=0,00 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Hipnosis lima jari mampu menurunkan kecemasan pasien kanker leher rahim.

Backgrouqnd: The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is still placed as the highest among between gynecologic cancer. Cervical cancer patient generally has anxiety since the uterus has biological and psychological meaning for woman. When the anxiety persists and severe, it can decrease the body immunity system. Therefore, an effective way should be sought in decreasing anxiety. This research was aimed to examine the role of five-digit hypnosis on decreasing anxiety of the cervical cancer patient. Method: The research was Quasi experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of research were 30 peoples who here given treatment of five-digit hypnosis and 30 peoples without treatment. Sample was selected in simple random sampling. The data collection method was questionnaire. The anxiety difference score of the patient was analysed with pair samples test, while Independent samples test was used to examine the influence of five-digit hypnosis in significance level p=0.05. Result and Discussion: The result indicated that there were no difference in age characteristic, education and length of medication between the two groups (p>0.05). There was significant anxiety difference (p<0,05) between treatment and non treatment group. The cervical cancer patient provided with five-digit hypnosis had lower mean of anxiety than those without treatment. The test result indicates that five-digit hypnosis decreases anxiety of cervical cancer patient p=0.00 (p<0.05). Conclusion: The five-digit hypnosis may decrease anxiety of cervical cancer patient.
