Penelitian Efisiensi Dan Faktor Internal Eksternal Agroindustri Gula Kelapa Di Kecamatan Cilongok Kabupaten Banyumas dilakukan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi usaha agroindustri pengrajin gula kelapa. Faktor internal yang dimaksud adalah profil pengrajin, modal, jumlah bahan baku, tingkat teknologi. Sedang faktor eksternal adalah tingkat harga, sistem pemasaran, pembinaan, kelembagaan ekonomi dan prasarana. Tujuan lain mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produk gula kelapa pengrajin berdasarkan status penguasaan lahan dan mengetahui bagaimanakah tingkat efisiensi ekonomis dari usaha agroindustri gula kelapa di Kecamatan Cilongok. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sasaran penelitian adalah petani pengrajin yang bergerak dalam usaha agroindustri gula kelapa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Two Stage Cluster Sampling. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara survei terhadap pengrajin berdasarkan status penguasaan lahan dengan jumlah sampel secara keseluruhan 66 responden pengrajin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh faktor internal dalam pengelolaan agroindustri gula kelapa di kecamatan Cilongok mencakup : profil pengrajin yang mempunyai ciri khas masih sempitnya penguasaan lahan garapan, rendahnya pendidikan formal pengrajin serta pengalaman berwirausaha yang cukup lama, kepemilikan modal masih rendah, kemudahan mendapatkan jumlah bahan baku nir , kayu bakar serta tenaga kerja , ketrampilan pengelolaan agroindustri gula kelapa yang masih tradisional. Sedang faktor eksternal adalah sikap pasrah menerima tingkat harga produk gula kelapa yang cenderung ditetapkan sepihak oleh tengkulak, sistem pemasaran gula kelapa yang umum dilakukan pengrajin berupa penjualan melalui tengkulak dan kelompok tani yang selanjutnya dijual ke pihak tengkulak, kegiatan pembinaan yang cenderung bersifat temporer , beragamnya lembaga ekonomi sebagai salah satu sumber mendapatkan modal berwirausaha , kondisi prasarana perhubungan dan komunikasi yang mendukung kegiatan agroindustri gula kelapa. Faktor poroduksi yang mempengaruhi produksi gula kelapa pengrajin gabungan (pemilik, penyakap dan penyewa) adalah bahan nira, kayu bakar dan tenaga kerja. Efisiensi ekonomis sebagian besar pengrajin kurang dari satu (EE < 1) atau dengan kata lain kegiatan agroindustri gula kelapa belum mencapai efisien secara ekonomis.

Efficiency and Internal External Factors Research Concerning to Coconut Sugar Agroindustry in Cilongok, Banyumas Regency aims to criticize the internal and external factors which affecting the agro industry business of coconut sugar craftsman. The internal factors are craftsman’s profile, capital, raw materia l and the level of technology. Whereas the external factors are price rate, marketing system, training, economic organization and the infrastructure. The other purpose is to find out the factors affecting the coconut sugar products according to the land authority and to find out the rate of economic efficiency from the business of coconut sugar in Cilongok. The research done by using descriptive method with the object of research is the craftsman’s of coconut sugar, which work in the agro industry business of coconut sugar. The used sampling technical is Two Stage Cluster Sampling. The primary data collected by a survey toward the craftsman’s according to the authority status with the number of total sample is 66 craftsman respondents. The result of the research shows the affection of internal factors to the coconut sugar agro industry in Cilongok, involves: craftsman’s profile with specification of narrow land authority, the low formal study basic and the long time experience of enterpreneuring, low capital, the feasibility of having the raw material, woods and the labor, and the traditionally skill of managing coconut sugar industry. The external factors are the submitance toward the price determining which tends to determined unilateral, the marketing system generally done by the craftsman through the broker and farmers group and moreover sold to the broker, the training activity is temporarily, the various economic organizations as the one source of getting the capital, the infrastructure of transportation and communication are supporting the coconut sugar agro industry. The production factors which affecting the grouping craftsman coconut sugar producers (owner, sapper, lessee) is the nira, woods and the labor. The economic efficiency of almost the craftsma n is less than one (EE <1) or in other words the agro industry activity of coconut sugar haven’t efficient economically yet.
