Pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo diantara beberapa varietas Nanas dan pengaruhnya terhadap sifat-sifat tanah mediteran Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta

2004 | Tesis | S2 AgronomiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh beberapa varietas nanas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi gogo, mengetahui proporsi dan varietas nanas dalam tumpangsari yang memberikan hasil padi gogo tertinggi serta mempelajari perubahan beberapa sifat tanah setelah penanaman padi gogo diantara tanaman nanas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Oktober 2003 sampai dengan Maret 2004 di desa Logandeng, Playen Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap. 3 x 2 faktorial + 3 perlakuan tambahan dan diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama, varietas tanaman nanas yaitu varietas Queen Blitar (NB), Queen Hijau Bogor (NQ) dan Cayenne Subang (NC). Faktor kedua, derajat tumpangsari yaitu monokultur nanas (P0) dan tumpangsari nanas dan padi gogo dengan perbandingan populasi 50 % : 50 % (P50). Perlakuan tambahan terdiri dari tumpangsari varietas Queen Blitar 75 % : 25 % padi gogo (P25), tumpangsari varietas Queen Blitar 25 % : 75 % padi gogo (P75) dan monokultur padi gogo (P100) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tumpangsari padi gogo dengan nanas varietas Cayenne Subang, Queen Hijau Bogor dan Queen Blitar nanas dapat meningkatkan hasil padi gogo. Tumpangsari nanas varietas Queen Blitar dengan proporsi 75 % : 25 % padi gogo memberikan hasil gabah per rumpun tertinggi. Tumpangsari tanaman padi gogo dan nanas varietas Cayenne Subang dengan proporsi 50 % memberikan hasil gabah per hektar lebih tinggi daripada tumpangsari tanaman padi gogo dengan nanas varietas Queen Blitar dan Queen Hijau Bogor. Penurunan KPK dan N total tanah pada tumpangsari padi gogo dan beberapa varietas nanas dengan proporsi 50 % lebih rendah daripada monokultur padi gogo. Peningkatan volume pori tanah dan berat volume tanah lebih tinggi pada tumpangsari padi gogo dan beberapa varietas nanas dengan proporsi 50 %. Serapan N tertinggi pada monokultur padi gogo
The aim of this research were to study (1) the effect of some pineapple varieties on the growth and yield of upland rice, (2) the best pineapple proportion in intercropping system which gave the highest yield of upland rice and (3) soil characteristics change after upland rice – pineapple intercropping. The research was conducted from October 2003 until March 2004 at Logandeng village, Playen, Gungung Kidul district, Yogyakarta province. The design of the field experiment was 3 x 2 factorial + 3 additional treatments arranged in randomized complete block. The first factor was pineapple varieties i.e. Queen Blitar (NB), Queen Hijau Bogor (NQ) and Cayenne Subang (NC), while second factor was intercropping degree i.e. pineaplle monoculture (P0) and 50 % proportion of intercropping system (P50). The additional treatments consist of upland rice monoculture (P100), intercropping with proportion Queen Blitar 25 % : 75 % upland rice (P75) and intercropping with proportion Queen Blitar 75 % : 25 % upland rice (P25). The results of this research showed upland rice - some variety of pineapple (Queen Blitar, Queen Hijau Bogor and Cayenne Subang) intercropping can increase upland rice yield. Intercropping of Queen Blitar 75 % : 25 % upland rice gave the highest yield of grain per hill. The upland rice and Cayenne Subang intercropping with 50 % proportion gave higher yield per hectar than upland rice – Queen Blitar and upland rice – Queen Hijau Bogor intercropping. The decrease of soil characteristic consist of KPK and total N in intercropping was lower than upland rice monoculture. The Increasing of pore volume and bulk density in upland rice – pineapple intercropping with 50 % proportion was higher than upland rice monoculture. The highest nitrogen absorption was in upland rice monoculture.
