Pengaruh intensitas cahaya dan kadar Daminosida terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembungaan tanaman Krisan dalam pot

Penelitian ini mempelajari pengaruh intensitas cahaya dan kadar daminosida terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembungaan tanaman krisan dalam pot, dan menentukan kombinasi intensitas cahaya dan kadar daminosida optimum bagi pertumbuhan dan pembungaan tanaman krisan dalam pot. Penelitian dilaksanakan di desa Nano, kecamatan Tawangmangu, kabupaten KarangAnyar, Surakarta mulai bulan Nopember 2003 sampai Maret 2004 dengan ketinggian tempat 1100 m dpl, jenis tanah andosol. Perlakuan percobaan diatur dalam rancangan petak terpisah dengan lima ulangan. Intensitas cahaya sebagai petak utama terdiri atas 55%, 75% dan 100%, sedangkan kadar daminosida sebagai anak petak terdiri atas 0 ppm, 125 ppm, 250 ppm, 375 ppm dan 500 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1). Terdapat pengaruh interaksi perlakuan intensitas cahaya dan kadar daminosida terhadap luas daun tanaman umur 12 minggu setelah pinching, bobot segar tajuk tanaman umur 12 minggu setelah pinching, nisbah tajuk akar, laju pertumbuhan nisbi, diameter tajuk, jumlah bunga per tanaman, umur panen, volume tanaman dan umur pajang tanaman. (2). Perlakuan intensitas cahaya 75% dan kadar daminosida 250 ppm menunjukkan hasil tertinggi secara nyata terhadap bobot segar tajuk tanaman umur 12 minggu setelah pinching, nisbah tajuk akar, diameter tajuk, jumlah bunga per tanaman, volume tanaman dan umur pajang tanaman. (3). Kualitas tanaman krisan tertinggi ditunjukkan tanaman dengan perlakuan intensitas cahaya 75% dan kadar daminosida 250 ppm, dengan kriteria sangat baik.

The research was to study the effects of various light intensities and daminozide concentrations on the growth and flowering of potted chrysanthemum, and to determine the optimum light intensity and daminozide concentration which was able to induce early flowering of the plant. The research was conducted at Nano village, Tawangmangu, KarangAnyar, Surakarta in the altitude of 1100 meters above sea level from November 2003 to March 2004. The planting medium was andosol soil type. The method of the experiment was based on a split plot design, consisted of two factors and five repetitions. The main plot factor was the light intensities i.e. 55%, 75% and 100%. The daminozide concentrations were used as sub plot i.e. 0 ppm, 125 ppm, 250 ppm, 375 ppm, and 500 ppm. The results of the research showed that (1). There were interaction effects of light intensities and daminozide concentrations mainly on leaf area, shoot-root ratio, relative growth rate, shoot diameter, number of flower per plant, plant volume, plant harvesting age and plant decorate age. (2). Seventy five percent of light intensity and 250 ppm daminozide concentration produced significantly highest results as shown by shoot diameter, number of flowers, shoot-root ratio. (3). Seventy five percent of light intensity and 250 ppm daminozide concentrations produced the highest quality of plant.
