The Moderating Role of Flexible Working Arrangements in The Relationship Between Resilience and The Psychological WellBeing of Working Mothers in Indonesia

Kesejahteraan psikologis sangat penting bagi ibu bekerja yang harus menyeimbangkan tanggung jawab profesional dan keluarga. Resiliensi meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan memungkinkan individu beradaptasi terhadap stres dan kesulitan. Flexible Working Arrangements telah diusulkan sebagai sumber daya di tempat kerja yang dapat memperkuat hubungan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah Flexible Working Arrangements memoderasi hubungan antara resiliensi dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada ibu bekerja di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dari 248 partisipan melalui survei daring menggunakan alat ukur psikologis yang telah divalidasi. Analisis moderasi dilakukan menggunakan General Linear Model (GLM) dalam Jamovi 2.6, dengan analisis tambahan melalui modul medmod. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi secara signifikan memprediksi kesejahteraan psikologis (Estimasi = 1.0459, p < .001), dan Flexible Working Arrangements memiliki efek langsung yang kecil namun signifikan (Estimasi = 0.0706, p = .001). Namun, interaksi antara keduanya tidak signifikan (Estimasi = 0.0230, p = .256), yang menunjukkan bahwa Flexible Working Arrangements tidak memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun resiliensi dan Flexible Working Arrangements sama-sama berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan, pengaruhnya bersifat independen.
Psychological well-being is essential for working mothers who balance professional and family responsibilities. Resilience enhances well-being by enabling individuals to adapt to stress and adversity. Flexible Working Arrangements (FWA) have been proposed as a workplace resource that may strengthen this relationship. This study investigates whether FWA moderates the relationship between resilience and psychological well-being among Indonesian working mothers. Data were collected from 248 participants through an online survey using validated psychological scales. Moderation analysis was conducted using the General Linear Model (GLM) in Jamovi 2.6, with a supplementary analysis using the medmod module. Results showed that resilience significantly predicted psychological well-being (Estimate = 1.0459, p < .001), and FWA had a small but significant direct effect (Estimate = 0.0706, p = .001). However, the interaction term was not significant (Estimate = 0.0230, p = .256), indicating that FWA does not moderate the relationship. These findings suggest that while both resilience and FWA contribute to well-being, their effects are independent.
