Studi Perbandingan Sistem Politik Negara dalam Pembentukan Fungsi Cryptocurrency

Teknologi crypto telah menjadi sesuatu yang fenomenal di dunia teknologi dan keuangan global. Keberadaannya yang dianggap menjadi alternatif baru teknologi keuangan yang lebih transparan dan dianggap melintasi aturan-aturan yang dimiliki negara. Penelitian ini mencoba melihat bagaimana sistem politik di sebuah negara akan mampu membentuk fungsi pada perkembangan teknologi crypto. Menggunakan kategorisasi dari EIU Democracy Index, riset ini menunjukkan bentuk-bentuk fungsi yang dibentuk sistem politik secara berbeda yang pada akhirnya dapat membuat turunan regulasi dan kebijakan yang berbeda-beda. Sekaligus menunjukkan seberapa jauh negara-negara di dunia sampai saat ini membicarakan teknologi crypto lintas negara.

Crypto technology has become a phenomenal development in the global technology and financial sectors. It is seen as a new alternative to financial technology that offers greater transparency and operates beyond the regulatory frameworks of nation-states. This study examines how a country's political system influences the functional development of crypto technology. Using the categorization from the EIU Democracy Index, this research highlights how different political systems shape distinct functions of crypto, ultimately leading to diverse regulatory and policy outcomes. Additionally, it explores the extent to which countries worldwide are currently engaging in cross-border discussions on cryptocurrency.
