Analisis Perubahan Media Rekam Arsip Hasil Pemeriksaan Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) dari CD-ROM ke Penyimpanan Digital Berbasis Server di RSUP Dr. Sardjito

Proyek akhir ini membahas tentang perubahan media rekam arsip hasil pemeriksaan Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) di RSUP Dr. Sardjito dari yang semula menggunakan media CD-ROM hingga berubah ke sistem digital berbasis server. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran terkait alasan mengapa media CD-ROM dipilih sebagai media penyimpanan pada saat itu, dan alasan perubahan media simpan dari CD-ROM menjadi sistem digital berbasis server.

Penulisan proyek akhir ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati lokasi penelitian tetapi tidak terlibat secara aktif dalam proses yang terjadi di lapangan. Wawancara dilakukan dengan semi terstruktur, yakni dengan menyiapkan pertanyaan kunci yang jawabannya dapat dikembangkan oleh narasumber. Narasumber yang dipilih yaitu seorang radiografer Cath Lab dengan didukung oleh informan lain, yakni perawat Cath Lab dan pegawai di Satuan Kerja Tata Usaha RSUP Dr. Sardjito. Studi pustaka dilakukan dengan tinjauan literatur, yaitu buku, artikel ilmiah, peraturan pemerintah, dan foto hasil penelitian untuk mendukung data dan informasi yang ditemukan di lapangan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CD-ROM sudah digunakan oleh RSUP Dr. Sardjito sejak tahun 2000-an hingga tahun 2020-an. Mulai tahun 2021, informasi hasil Cath Lab sudah seluruhnya disimpan secara digital di dalam sistem bernama Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Hal tersebut karena RSUP Dr. Sardjito sudah mulai menganggarkan untuk membeli server untuk penyimpanan secara digital. 

This final project discusses the changes in recording media for Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) examination results at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, from initially using CD-ROM media to transitioning to a server-based digital system. The aim of this final project is to provide an overview of the reasons why CD-ROM was choosen as the storage medium at the time, as well as the reasons for the subsequent shift from CD-ROM to a server-based digital system.

The writing of this final project uses a qualitatives research method with a case study approach. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies. Observation was conducted by observing the research location without actively participating in the processes occuring in the fiels. Interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner, by preparing key quetions whose answers could be further developed by the informants. The selected informant was a Cath Lab radiographer, supported by other informants, namely Cath Lab nurse and an employee from the Administrative Work Unit at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital. The literature review was carried out by reviewing books, government regulations, and research photographs to support the data and information found in the field.

The research results show that CD-ROMs has been used by Dr. Sardjito General Hospital from the 2000s until the 2020s. Starting 2021, all Cath Lab examination resuls have been stored digitally in a system called the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) This transition occured because Dr. Sardjito General Hospital begin allocating a budget for purchasing servers for digital storage.
