Gambaran Histopatologis Penderita Kanker Leher Rahim di RSUP Dr.Sardjito Tahun 1997-1998

Research about “Histopathological Features Of Cervix Uteri Neoplasm In RSUP dr. Sardjito 1997-1998” has been accomplished. The record RSUP dr. Sardjito year 1993-1997 showed that among all other ginecological neoplasm, cervix uteri neoplasm is on the top of the list. (60,1%). The aim of the research is to acknowledge the proportion of histopathological features of cervix uteri neoplasm and the pattern of distribution of cervix uteri neoplasm according to the age, parity and clinical stage. Among various kinds of cervix uteri neoplasm, the epidermoid carcinoma has the highest incidence which is about 90%. (Sardjadi, 1992). Subject to this research was all patient whose diagnosed cervix uteri neoplasm admitted to the RSUP dr. Sardjito's Obstetry and Gynecology unit, wi thin 2 years from January 1st 1997 until December 31st 1998. The method of this research was descriptive, which was held in retrospective non-experimental way. Sourches of data were medical record RSUP dr. Sardjito. All collected data were classified based on age, pariclinical stage and histopathological features. Data was then measured by means of percentage scales (frequency). Research had found 244 eligible cases out of 253 cases from the age 40-49 years old (37,7%), parity of P4-5 (34,8%) and the stage IIIB of clinical stage (41,4%), the most commonly found was carcinoma epidermoid (79,9%) More research still need to be done about the cervix uteri neoplasm with broader subject or bigger amount of sample that would give more precise result so hopefully can help providing a better care in the future.
