Proses nitridasi khususnya dengan metode implantasi ion merupakan proses yang sangat baik yaitu sulit terjadi transformasi atau perubahan struktur dari logam induk sehingga baja hasil implantasi menghasilkan kulit nitrida yang keras.

The nitriding process, especially with the ion implantation method, is a very good process, namely that it is difficult for transformation or changes in the structure of the parent metal to occur so that the implanted steel produces a hard nitride skin.
