PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AMPAS SAGU DAN EKSKRETA AYAM FERMENTASI DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PENAMPILAN AYAM BROILER

2005 | Skripsi | S1 PETERNAKANPENGARUH AMPAS SAGU DAN EKSKRETA AYAM FERMENTASI DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PENAMPILAN AYAM BROILER Nuriyawati 00/134799/PT/03926 INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ampas sagu dan ekskreta ayam fermentasi (ASEF) dalam pakan terhadap penampilan ayam broiler. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Peternakan Univeristas Gadjah Mada. Seratus ekor broiler jantan strain Arbor Acres CP 707 dikelompokkan kedalam empat macam perlakuan yaitu R0 (0% ASEF), R1 (4% ASEF), R2 (8% ASEF) dan R3 (12% ASEF), masing-masing dalam 5 ulangan dan tiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 ekor ayam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, pertambahan berat badan dan konversi pakan. Data yang diambil dianalisis menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola searah dan perbedaan rata-rata diuji Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ASEF dalam pakan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertambahan berat badan dan konversi pakan, dimana rerata pertambahan berat badan (g/ekor) berturut-turut untuk R0, R1, R2 dan R3 adalah 1395,04; 1475,77; 1461,02; 1384,37 dan rerata konversi pakan adalah 2,13; 1,99; 2,00; 2,10. sedangkan terhadap konsumsi pakan tidak berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan rerata konsumsi pakan (g/ekor) adalah 2969,12; 2938,76; 2920,76; 2901,00. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ampas sagu dan ekskreta ayam fermentasi dalam pakan sampai level 8% dapat memperbaiki penampilan ayam broiler. THE EFFECT OF FERMENTED SAGO WASTE AND CHICKEN MANURE ON BROILER PERFORMANCE Nuriyawati 00/134799/PT/03926 ABSTRACT This experiment was carried out to observe the effect of fermented sago waste and chicken manure (FSWCM) on broiler performance. Experiment was held at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. One hundred male broilers Arbor Acress CP 707 were devided into four groups of treatment, namely R0 (0% FSWCM), R1(4% FSWCM), R2 (8% FSWCM) and R3 (12% FSWCM). Each of treatment consisted of five replications and each of replication consisted of five broilers. The variable observed was feed consumption, weight gain and feed convertion. Data obtained was analysed using analysis one way completely random design and if there was significant differences it was continued by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result of the experiment showed that utilitation of fermented sago waste and chicken manure on diet had significant effect (P<0,05) on weight gain and feed conversion. The average of weight gain were 1395,04; 1475,77; 1461,02; 1384,37 g/broiler for R0, R1, R2, R3 and feed conversion means were 2,13; 1,99; 2,00; 2,10 respectively. There was no significant effect on feed consumption. Feed consumption was 2969,12; 2938,76; 2920,76; 2901,00 g/broiler. It can be concluded that fermented sago waste and manure waste in the ration up 8% gave good broiler performance. Key word : Broiler, Performance, Sago waste, Chicken manure, Fermentation
