LAA ROYBAFYH, 2025, Tingkat Kerusakan dan Penentuan Jenis Pemeliharaan Ruas Jalan Raya Sawojajar Wanasari Kabupaten Brebes Mengunakan Metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dan Surface Distress Index (SDI). (dibimbing oleh Nursyamsu Hidayat, ST., MT., Ph.D).

Ruas jalan raya Sawojajar di Kabupaten Brebes berperan sebagai penghubung antara jalan pantura dan akses menuju beberapa desa di Kecamatan Wanasari. Evaluasi kondisi jalan perlu dilakukan secara berkala, baik dari aspek struktural maupun non-struktural. Penilaian terhadap kondisi permukaan jalan yang diperoleh dengan pengukuran menggunakan metode visual dalam hal ini metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dan Surface Distress Index (SDI). Kondisi ruas jalan raya Sawojajar dibeberapa titik mengalami kerusakan sehingga perlu diketahui jenis-jenis kerusakan ruas jalan tersebut, untuk dinilai tingkat kondisi jalannya.

Data yang diperlukan pada penelitian adalah kuantitas kerusakan, jenis kerusakan, dan kualitas kerusakan dari tiap unit sampel. Unit sampel dibagi setiap jarak 100 meter, penelitian ini menggunakan 33 unit sampel. Data hasil survei dicatat pada formulir survei untuk keperluan analisis pada perhitungan dan menentukan nilai PCI dan SDI.

Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai PCI adalah 85,3 (Satisfactory) dan SDI adalah 26,3 (Baik). Persentase kondisi jalan berdasarkan penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan hasil antara metode PCI dan SDI. Pada metode PCI, persentase kondisi jalan dalam kategori Good mencapai 45,2%, dan dengan dominan kategori Satisfactory sebesar 54,8%. Untuk metode SDI menunjukkan bahwa seluruh unit sampel dinyatakan berada dalam kondisi baik. Hal ini disebabkan pada metode SDI hanya menggunakan 4 unsur kerusakan, sehingga terdapat kerusakan yang tidak terukur pada metode SDI namun dapat terukur pada metode PCI. Jenis pemeliharaan jalan yang sesuai untuk ruas jalan adalah pemeliharaan rutin.

The Sawojajar road section in Brebes Regency acts as a link between the pantura road and access to several villages in Wanasari District. Evaluation of road conditions needs to be done regularly, both from structural and non-structural aspects. Assessment of road surface conditions obtained by measurement using visual methods, in this case the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Surface Distress Index (SDI) methods. The condition of the Sawojajar highway section at several points is damaged so it is necessary to know the types of damage to the road section, to assess the level of road conditions.

The data required in the study is the quantity of damage, type of damage, and quality of damage from each sample unit. The sample units were divided every 100 meters, this study used 33 sample units. The survey data was recorded on the survey form for analysis purposes in calculating and determining the PCI and SDI values.

The results of the calculation show that the PCI value is 85.3 (Satisfactory) and SDI is 26.3 (Good). The percentage of road conditions based on the research shows a difference in results between the PCI and SDI methods. In the PCI method, the percentage of road conditions in the Good category reached 45.2%, and with the dominant Satisfactory category at 54.8%. The SDI method shows that all sample units are declared to be in good condition. This is because the SDI method only uses 4 elements of damage, so there is damage that is not measured in the SDI method but can be measured in the PCI method. The type of road maintenance that is suitable for road sections is routine maintenance.
