PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PAKAN PABRIKAN BERBEDA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS AYAM KUB YANG DIPELIHARA MASYARAKAT SEMANU, GUNUNGKIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan pabrikan terhadap produktivitas pada ayam KUB yang dipelihara Masyarakat Semanu, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta yang dilaksanakan selama 10 minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan ayam KUB sebanyak 135 ekor yang terbagi dalam 9 kandang dengan masing-masing kandang berjumlah 15 ekor ayam. Perlakuan tiga pakan pabrikan dilakukan dari fase starter hingga fase finisher dengan kode pakan JC, NH, dan MP. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu bobot akhir, pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan, mortalitas, dan Income Over Feed Cost. Data penelitian dianalisis statistik dengan metode Analysis of Variance berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah. Analisis dibantu dengan Statistical Package for Social Science. Apabila menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda secara signifikan maka akan dilanjut dengan uji Least Significant Difference. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis pakan komersial (JC, NH, dan MP) tidak mempengaruhi bobot badan, konversi pakan, dan mortalitas ayam, namun pakan MP dikonsumsi lebih sedikit dibandingkan pakan JC dan NH. Nilai IOFC pada perlakuan JC, NH, dan MP secara berturut-turut yaitu Rp 11.100, Rp 10.377, dan Rp 9.247.
This study aims to determine the effect of factory feeding on productivity in KUB chickens raised by the Semanu Community, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta, which was conducted for 10 weeks. This study used 135 KUB chickens divided into 9 cages with 15 chickens in each cage. The treatment of three manufactured feeds was carried out from the starter phase to the finisher phase with feed codes JC, NH, and MP. The variables used were final weight, body weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, mortality, and Income Over Feed Cost. The research data were analyzed statistically using the Analysis of Variance method based on a Randomized Complete Block Design. The analysis was assisted by Statistical Package for Social Science. If it shows significantly different results, it will be continued with the Least Significant Difference test. The results showed that different types of commercial feed (JC, NH, and MP) did not affect body weight, feed conversion, and mortality of chickens, but MP feed was consumed less than JC and NH feed. The IOFC values in the JC, NH, and MP treatments were Rp 11,100, Rp 10,377, and Rp 9,247, respectively.
