Komitmen organisasi ditinjau dari coping terhadap perubahan organisasi dan pusat kendali pada karyawan PT Bank BPD Jateng Kantor Pusat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara coping terhadap perubahan organisasi dan pusat kendali dengan komitmen organisasi. Coping dibedakan menjadi coping bentuk perumusan masalah dan coping bentuk regulasi emosi, dan pusat kendali dibedakan menjadi pusat kendali internal dan pusat kendali eksternal. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Bank BPD Jateng Kantor Pusat dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 115 orang karyawan dengan karakteristik yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode skala. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama dengan analisis regresi linier, antara problem focus coping (PFC) dan pusat kendali internal dengan komitmen organisasi diperoleh koefisien regresi Rx1.2y sebesar 0,547 dengan sumbangan efektif 53.90% dengan harga F = 67.693 (p = 0.00). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara problem focus coping (PFC) dan pusat kendali internal dengan komitmen organisasi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis kedua dengan analisis regresi linier, antara emotion focus coping dan pusat kendali eksternal dengan komitmen organisasi diperoleh koefisien regresi Rx1.2y = 0,384 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 13.20%, dengan F = 9.659 (p = 0.00). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara coping bentuk regulasi emosi (EFC) dan pusat kendali eksternal dengan komitmen organisasi. Sumbangan efektif coping terhadap perubahan organisasi dan pusat kendali sebesar 43.20 %, artinya bahwa komitmen organisasi 43.20% ditentukan oleh coping terhadap perubahan organisasi dan pusat kendali, dan sisanya ditentukan oleh faktor- faktor lain.

This research was purposed to examine relation between coping to organization change and locus of control and organizational commitment. Coping was differentiated into problem focus and emotion focus coping, and locus of control was recognized into internal of control and external locus of control. This research was conducted at the head office of PT Bank BPD Jateng, with 115 employees as the samples. Questionnaires were used as the data collecting methods by using linear regression analysis, the correlation between problem focus coping (PFC) and internal locus of control with organizational commitment indicated by coefficient of regression Rx1.2y equal to 0.547 with effective contribution equal to 53.90% and F = 67.693 (p=0.00). It meant that there was a significant relation between internal locus of control and problem focus coping to organizational commitment. The second hypothesis was examine by using linear regression analysis, the correlation between emotion focus coping (EFC) and external locus of control with organizational commitment showed the coefficient of regression Rx1.2y equal to 0.384 with effective contribution equal to 13.20% with F = 9.569 (p=0.00). It showed that there was a significant correlation between external locus of control and emotion focus coping to organizational commitment. Effective contribution of coping to organization change and locus of control was equal to 43.20%. It meant that 43.20% organizational commitment was determined by coping to organization change and locus of control, and the rest was determined by other factors.
