Pengaruh operasi penutupan celah langit-langit terhadap kejelasan suara

Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengevaluasi kejelasan suara pada penderita celah langit – langit setelah dilakukan operasi penutupan celah langit – langit dengan alat Osciloscope dibandingkan sebelum operasi dan diharapkan hasilnya lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2002 – Maret 2003 terhadap 11 orang penderita celah langit – langit yang sesuai kriteria, perlakuan pertama adalah merekam D, G, K, kemudian dilakukan operasi. Setelah kurang lebih 1 bulan direkam ulang huruf D, G, K. Hasil rekaman diolah di laboratorium Fak. Teknik UGM dengan Osciloscope dan perangkat lunak Matlab 6.1. Analisis statistik digunakan adalah pair t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan pengucapan suara G setelah dioperasi celah langit – langit. Tetapi pengucapan huruf D dan K tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna ( p < 0,05 ).

The aim of this study was to evaluate the clarity of voice in patients with palatoschizis after undergo palatoschizis closure surgery by oscilloscope compared with before surgery and desired a better result. This study performed toward 11 patients with palatoschizis, which met the criterion, from Desember 2002 to March 2003. First treatment was recording the letters D, G, and K, and then surgery perfomed. Approximately, after 1 month, repeat recording the letters D, G, and K. Result of recording processed in the laboratory of engineering faculty, Gadjah Mada University by oscilloscope and Matlab 6.1 software. Statistical analysis with paired t test. The result showed that there was difference articulation of voice G after palatoschizis surgery, but statistical no differences to articulation of voice d and K ( p < 0.05 ).
