Pengaruh jumlah tumbukan serta lama rendaman terhadap karakteristik campuran panas bergradasi superpave dengan diameter nominal 19 mm pada VMA rendah berdasarkan uji Marshall

Jenis kerusakan dengan campuran beraspal panas yang paling sering dihadapi di Indonesia dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir ini adalah retak dan deformasi plastis (Plastic deformation). Untuk mengantisipasi dan memperkecil kerusakan yang terjadi, maka hal yang harus mandapat perhatian adala h pemilihan dan perencanaan campuran aspal guna mendapatkan campuran yang awet dan menpunyai stabilitas yang cukup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah tumbukan serta lama rendaman pada VM.A rendah terhadap karakteristik Marshall meliputi nilai density, void in mineral aggregate (VMA), void filled with asphalt (VFWA), void in total mix (VITM), stabilitas, flow, Marshall quotient. Penelitian dilakukan dengan campuran panas bergradasi superpave diameter nominal 19 mm pada VMA rendah . Rancangan dilakukan pada 3 variasi gradasi yang kemudian divariasikan dengan kadar aspal Untuk mendapatkan nilai VFWA. Pengujian dilakukan pada tumbukan 2x75, 2x100, 2x200 dan perendaman pada Water batch suhu 60°C selama 0,5 jam, 24 jam, 42 jam dan 72 jam. Hasi1 void analysis dan uji Marshall akan diperoleh nilai density, VITM. VMA, VFWA, stabilitas,.flow dan Marshall Quotient (MQ) serta tingkat durabilitas campuran . Pada tahap pembuatan benda uji, rentang nilai VMA rancangan benda uji dan VMA benda uji, terbesar pada gradasi B yaitu 16.90%. Peningkatan jumlah tumbukan 2x75 sampai 2x200 mengakibatkan peningkatan nilai density rata -rata 1,24%. VFWA 9,17%, stabilitas 25,97%, MQ 31,71% dan penurunan nilai VMA rata-rata 7,14%, VITM 21,64% dan. flow 4,17%. Akibat lama rendaman sampai 72 jam terjadi penurunan nilai stabilitas rata-rata 4,12%, MQ 9,34% dan nilai flow naik 7.06%. Pemenuhan spesifikasi Kimpraswil 2000 akibat tumbukan 2x200 untuk ketiga gradasi tidak ada yang memenuhi. dan terhadap spesifikasi superpave adalah gradasi B (VMA = 14,53%) pada VFWA 52,62%. Tinjauan terhadap spesifikasi Kimpraswil 2000 akibat pengaruh tumbukan adalah gradasi E (VMA = 13,89%) tumbukan 2x75 pada VFWA 66,17%, Terhadap spesifikasi Superpave yaitu gradasi E tumbukan 2x75 pada 66.17%, gradasi B tumbukan 2x200 pada VFWA 52,62%, gradasi A tumbukan 2x75 pada VFWA 69.95%, tumbukan 2x100 pada VFWA 69,09%.

Plastic deformation and cracking are two damage types of hot asphalt mixture that are faced up in Indonesia in the tenth decade. To anticipate and reduce the damage, it is required to design and choose the asphalt mixture which is durable and has adequate stability. The purpose of this research is to find out influence the number of blows and the immersion duration in low VMA of Marshall characteristics; i.e. density, Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void Filled With Asphalt (VFWA), Void In Total Mix (VITM), stability, flow, Marshall Quotient values. This research has been conducted superpave gradation hot mixture with nominal maximum size 19 mm in low VMA. The designing has been performed three gradation variations which have been varied with asphalt content to obtain a certain VFWA value. The test has been employed 2 x 75, 2 x 100, 2 x 200 blows, and the immersion duration in water batch in temperature 600 C for 0.5 hour, 24 hour, 42 hour, and 72 hour. The result of void analysis and Marshall Test has been obtain the value of density, VITM, VMA, VFWA, stability, flow, and Marshall Quotient (MQ), and also the durability level of mixture. In the creating sample test stage, the range between VMA value of sample test design and sample test, the smallest precetion indicated by gradation B of 16.09%. The increase number of blows from 2 x 75 to 2 x 200 led to the increase value of the average density 1.24%, VFWA 9.17%, stability 25.97%, MQ 31.71%, and the decrease value of the average VMA 7.14%, VITM 21.64%, and flow 4.17%. The immersion duration for 72 hour due to the decrease value of the average stability 4.12%, MQ 9.34%, but there is the increase value of flow 7.06%. The result of 2 x 200 blows in three gradations have not fulfilled of Kimpraswil year 2000 specification, on the other hand, the gradation B (VMA = 14.53%) in VFWA 52.62% completed the superpave specification requirement. The observation of Kimpraswil year 2000 specification because of blows influence was gradation E (VMA = 13.89%) 2 x 75 blows in VFWA 66.17%. Based on superpave specification, there was gradation E with 2 x 75 blows in VFWA 66.17%, gradation B with 2 x 200 in VFWA 52.62%, gradation A with 2 x 75 in VFWA 69.95% and 2 x 100 blows in VFWA 69.09%.
