PENGARUH PERSEPSI KARAKTERISTIK INOVASI KEMITRAAN SAPI POTONG TERHADAP SIKAP PETERNAK SAPI Ary Aji Widodo 2004/181217/PT/04857 INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi karakteristik inovasi kemitraan sapi potong terhadap sikap peternak sapi. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 peternak sapi. Penentuan responden menggunakan purposive random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Juni 2009 melalui teknik wawancara langsung dengan responden berdasarkan pada kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi binomial logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 60% responden bersikap positif dan 40% responden bersikap negatif terhadap inovasi kemitraan sapi potong. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diketahui bahwa responden yang mempunyai persepsi tinggi terhadap keuntungan relatif sebanyak 57,5%, kompatibilitas sebanyak 70%, triabilitas sebanyak 80%, observabilitas sebanyak 77,5% dan mempunyai persepsi rendah terhadap tingkat kompleksitas sebanyak 80% peternak responden. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap peternak melalui analisis regresi binomial logistik yaitu kompatibilitas (P<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar peternak responden bersikap positif terhadap inovasi kemitraan sapi potong, mempunyai persepsi tinggi terhadap karakteristik inovasi kecuali kompleksitas dan, persepsi tingkat kompatibilitas berpengaruh terhadap sikap peternak. THE EFFECT OF INNOVATION CHARACTERISTICS PERCEPTION OF BEEF CATTLE PARTNERSHIP PATTERN ON THE FARMERS’ ATTITUDE Ary Aji Widodo 2004/181217/PT/04857 ABSTRACT This research was aimed to analyze the effect of characteristic perception of cattle partnership pattern innovation to the attitude of the cow breeders. 40 cow breeders were involved in this research as respondents. The decision of the respondent was determined by purposive random sampling. Data collection was done in May to June 2009 by using direct interview technique with the respondents which was based on the questionnaire that had been tested its validity and reliability. Descriptive analysis and binominal logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The research showed that 60% respondents were showing positive attitude and 40% respondents were showing negative attitude toward cattle partnership pattern innovation. According to the descriptive analysis it was known that 57.5% respondents had high perception on relative advantage, 70% on compatibility, 80% on triability, 77.5% on observability, and 80% respondents had low perception on complexity. This research also showed that independent variable which significantly affected the attitude of the breeders through binominal logistic regression analysis was compatibility (P<0.05). the conclusion of this research was that most respondents had positive attitude toward cattle partnership pattern innovation, had high perception on characteristic of innovation except complexity and perception of compatibility affected the breeders’ attitude.
