PENGGUNAAN SILASE ISI RUMEN PENGGANTI HIJAUAN PAKAN TERHADAP PRODUKSI SUSU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan berupa silase isi rumen sebagai pengganti hijauan terhadap produksi susu dan kualitas susu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Besar Pelatihan Peternakan (BBPP) Batu, Jawa Timur. Analisis kandungan bahan pakan dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Brawijaya Malang dan Laboratorium Nutrisi Loka Penelitian Sapi Potong Grati, Pasuruan. Uji kualitas susu dilakukan di Laboratorium Susu BBPP Batu dan Laboratorium Susu Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Materi yang digunakan adalah 16 ekor sapi Friesian Holstein laktasi yang dibagi dalam empat kelompok. Imbangan hijauan dan konsentrat adalah 60% : 40% dalam bahan kering yang diberikan sebesar 3% dari bobot badan (BB) dengan perlakuan pakan P1= (100% hijauan dan 0% silase isi rumen sapi) + konsentrat, P2= (67% hijauan dan 33% silase isi rumen sapi) + konsentrat, P3= (33% hijauan dan 67% silase isi rumen sapi) + konsentrat, P4= (0% hijauan dan 100% silase isi rumen sapi) + konsentrat. Rancangan percobaan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Saat pembagian kelompok ternak dilakukan tes homogenitas produksi susu sebelum perlakuan pakan. Koleksi data meliputi sampel pakan pemberian selama 2 bulan, sampel sisa pakan selama 2 bulan dan sampel produksi susu selama 2 bulan (Oktober dan November). Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, produksi susu, dan kualitas susu (berat jenis susu, lemak susu, protein susu). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata konsumsi pakan yaitu BK (kg) P1 11,35±2,18, P2 9,20±1,48, P3 14,95±2,09, P4 13,50±1,27 serta PK (kg) P1 2,18±0,69, P2 1,30±0,27, P3 2,72±0,90; dan P4 2,50±0,68. Rerata produksi susu (liter/masa laktasi) P1 2446,27 ± 403,67, P2 2421,98 ± 705,13, P3 2439,77 ± 217,20 dan P4 2851,04 ± 468,80. Rerata kualitas susu yaitu berat jenis susu , P1 1,250 ± 0,005, P2 1,265 ± 0,010, P3 1,261 ± 0,004, P4 1,272 ± 0,006, lemak susu (%) P1 3,550 ± 0,251, P2 3,725 ± 0,299, P3 3,525 ± 0,500, P4 3,725 ± 0,287 dan protein susu (%) P1 3,717 ± 0,206, P2 3,900 ± 0,088, P3 3,500 ± 0,278 and P4 3,902 ± 0,069. Disimpulkan silase IRS dapat menggantikan hijauan pakan sapi perah FH yang sedang laktasi tanpa mempengaruhi produksi susu. This research was done to determine the effect of rumen content silage as substitution for forage in the ration on production and quality of milk. This research was conducted at Balai Besar Pelatihan Peternakan (BBPP) Batu, East Java. Analysis of nutrient of feed and milk were carried out at the Nutrition Laboratory of BBPP Batu, the Nutrition Laboratory of Beef Cattle Research Institute Grati, Pasuruan, Animal Nutrition Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Faculty, Brawijaya University, Malang, Milk Laboratory of BBPP Batu and Food Laboratory of Faculty Animal Science, Brawijaya University, Malang. The objects of this research were 16 lactating dairy cattle that divided into four groups. Offered feed were 3% of body weight (dry matter) in ratio of forages : concentrate was 60:40. The treatments were P1= (100% forages and 0% rumen content silage) + concentrate, P2= (67% forages and 33% rumen content silage) + concentrate, P3= (33% forages and 67% rumen content silage) + concentrate, and P4= (0% forages and 100% rumen content silage) + concentrate. The experiment design used was one way complete randomized design and continued descriptives. Variable observed were feed intake (dry matter intake and crude protein intake), milk production, and milk quality (specific gravity milk, milk protein, and milk fat). The results of this research showed that mean the treatments on feed intake that is dry matter intake (kg) P1 11.35±2.18, P2 9.20±1.48, P3 14.95±2.09, P4 13.50±1.27 and crude protein intake (kg) P1 2.18±0.69, P2 1.30±0.27, P3 2.72±0.90; and P4 2.50±0.68. The milk product/lactation periode of mean P1 2446.27 ± 403.67, P2 2421.98 ± 705.13, P3 2439.77 ± 217.20 and P4 2851.04 ± 468.80, where as for mean milk quality that is specific gravity P1 1.250 ± 0.005, P2 1.265 ± 0.010, P3 1.261 ± 0.004, P4 1.272 ± 0.006, on milk fat (%) P1 3.550 ± 0.251, P2 3.725 ± 0.299, P3 3.525 ± 0.500, P4 3.725 ± 0.287 and milk protein (%) P1 3.717 ± 0.206, P2 3.900 ± 0.088, P3 3.500 ± 0.278 and P4 3.902 ± 0.069. Based on results, it can be concluded that rumen content silage can be used for dairy cattle feed as subtitution for forages without affect milk production.
