Analisis Wacana Kritis Perwujudan Protes pada Pidato Alma Dufour terhadap Kedudukan Politik Prancis dalam Konflik Israel-Palestina

Konflik berkepanjangan antara Israel-Palestina selalu menjadi perbincangan internasional. Walaupun telah berlangsung selama beberapa dekade, konflik ini selalu menemui jalan buntu dan belum terdapat solusi yang memiliki pengaruh permanen dalam menyelesaikan konflik. Sejak kejadian tanggal 7 Oktober 2023, terjadi peningkatan pembahasan terkait isu konflik ini. Pengaruh perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial telah membuka platform perdebatan internasional. Gerak-gerik pemerintahan di setiap negara berada dalam sorotan publik, begitu juga di Prancis. Prancis sebagai rumah bagi populasi Muslim dan Yahudi terbanyak di Eropa, menjadikan perbincangan ini terasa lebih dekat ke rumah. Dalam politik nasional Prancis, konflik Israel-Palestina menimbulkan wacana yang selalu diperdebatkan, salah satunya di parlemen. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis bentuk protes yang ada dalam pidato politik salah satu anggota Majelis Nasional Prancis bernama Alma Dufour di sesi pleno Majelis Nasional pada 28 Mei 2024 berkaitan dengan serangan Israel ke kota Rafah, serta melakukan kajian terhadap posisi politik dan aksi tersebut. Sumber data utama yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini berasal dari transkrip resmi sesi pleno Majelis Nasional tanggal 28 Mei 2024 yang mengandung pidato politik Alma Dufour. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif komparatif deskriptif dengan memakai teori analisis wacana kritis milik Norman Fairclough dan teori repertoire of contention milik Charles Tilly. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa terdapat dua bentuk wujud protes yang dilakukan oleh Dufour yang tercerminkan dalam tuturan, yakni protes terhadap Israel dan pemerintah Prancis. Selain itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa posisi politik sejalan dengan partainya dan aksi yang dilakukan dapat dikelompokkan sebagai bagian dari aksi kolektif lainnya.

The protracted Israeli-Palestinian conflict has always been an international topic of discussion. Although it has been going on for decades, the conflict is always at a stalemate and there has yet to be a lasting solution to the conflict. Since the events of October 7, 2023, there has been an increase in discussion regarding this conflict. The influence of technological development and social media has opened up a platform for international debate. Every country's government is in the public spotlight, and France is no exception. France is home to the largest Muslim and Jewish populations in Europe, making this conversation feel closer to home. In French national politics, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has become a contentious issue, including in parliament. This research will analyze the form of protest in the political speech of a member of the French National Assembly named Alma Dufour at the plenary session of the National Assembly on May 28, 2024 in relation to the Israeli attack on the city of Rafah, and conduct a study of the political position and action. The main data source used in this research comes from the official transcript of the National Assembly plenary session on May 28, 2024, which contains Alma Dufour's political speech. The research uses a descriptive comparative qualitative method using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis theory and Charles Tilly's repertoire of contention theory. The results of the analysis found that there are two forms of protest carried out by Dufour which are reflected in the speech, namely protests against Israel and the French government. In addition, it can be concluded that her political position is in line with her party and her actions can be categorized as part of other collective actions.
