PENGARUH NILAI PENDANAAN INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING (IPO), RASIO IPO-EKUITAS DAN SITUASI PASAR TAHUN IPO TERHADAP TREN KINERJA SAHAM

Penelitian ini mengkaji penurunan signifikan harga saham PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) setelah penawaran umum perdana atau Initial Public Offering (IPO) yang sukses pada tahun 2022. Padahal, industri teknologi saat itu sedang mengalami pertumbuhan pesat, dan IPO GOTO sempat menarik minat investor. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis data sekunder dari Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk periode 2019-2023. Sampel penelitian mencakup perusahaan-perusahaan yang melakukan IPO pada periode tersebut, dengan fokus pada sektor teknologi, industri, utilitas, dan material dasar. Analisis time series dengan uji Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tren harga saham harian pada 30 hari perdagangan perdana, sementara analisis regresi linier berganda diterapkan untuk menguji pengaruh berbagai faktor terhadap kinerja saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio nilai pendanaan IPO terhadap nilai ekuitas perusahaan secara signifikan mempengaruhi tren harga saham. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa investor sebaiknya mempertimbangkan struktur ekuitas perusahaan sebelum melakukan investasi saham perusahaan IPO.

This study examines the significant decline in the stock price of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) following its successful initial public offering (IPO) in 2022. Despite the rapid growth of the technology industry at the time, GOTO's IPO initially attracted considerable investor interest. Using a quantitative approach, this research analyzes secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2019-2023. The study sample includes companies that conducted IPOs during this period, with a focus on the technology, industrial, utilities, and basic materials sectors. A time series analysis with the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test is employed to identify daily stock price trends over the first 30 trading days, while multiple linear regression analysis is applied to examine the impact of various factors on stock performance. The findings indicate that the ratio of IPO funding value to the company's equity value significantly influences stock price trends. This study concludes that investors should consider a company’s equity structure before investing in IPO stocks.
