Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kenaika suhu dan perubahan waktu, terhadap kedalaman difusi karbon pada permukaan baja dalam proses karburising dan guna mengetahui perubahan struktur mikro pada daerah permukaan baja terkarburasi sampai kedalaman tertentu, serta untuk mengetahui sifat-sifat mekanis hasil dari proses karburising.

The research aims to determine the effect of increasing temperature and changing time on the depth of carbon diffusion on the surface of steel in the carburising process and to determine changes in microstructure in the surface area of ??carburised steel to a certain depth, as well as to determine the mechanical properties of the results of the carburising process.
