Use of stump for teak forest rejuvenation, it is never done by Perum Perhutani. In the forest planting especially in the teak forest, Perhutani usually use seed. It is caused by climate characteristic that possible to use of seed on the other hand reality use of seed more cheap in cost. In this opportunity will be observed the behaviour of use stump in comparison with teak trees of seed. In the forest planting, Perhutani usually use intercropping system by this way need a particular space of planting, therefore in this observed will be correlated to use space of planting in order to attain the appropriatest planting space of planting space in application. There are three planting space in application for every planting material that is : 3xl m, 3x2 m, 3x3 m. From the observed give conclusion that teak trees derive from stump and seed (6,5 year old and having same time in seed planting) have no clearly different about high and diameter. This is indicate teak trees derive from stump have fast growing and can run it's late because it hade treatment cut on the base of stump and root when it is 14 month old. Use of space variation in planting is not significant about high,diameter,branch free pole and sum of branch. There is not interaction between planting material with the application of space variation in planting.
