The Sayung coast is an area subject to the direct influence of coastal disasters, particularly tidal floods. The adverse effects of these disasters have been found to disproportionately affect communities with limited resources.. The disasters, which afflict recurrently and in the long term, will have an adverse effect on the territorial resilience of the impacted areas. This research aimed to investigate the impact of tidal floods on social and economic aspects in Sayung Subdistrict; 2) This research focuses on analyzing the responses poor house hold to tidal flood; 3) This research is aimed at analyzing tidal flood implications for territorial resilience. The method used in this research is mixed methods. This research will combine case study method and survey methods. Data collection was conducted through a systematic process comprising structured interviews carried out using a questionnaire. The research also implemented a random sampling methodology, comprising a total of 310 informants and in-depth interviews were conducted with key informants to augment its comprehensiveness. Specifically, case study method will answer the research question of the the impact of tidal floods on social and economic aspects in Sayung Subdistrict, This research focuses on analyzing the responses and analyzing tidal flood implications for territorial resilience. The obtained results showed that tidal floods had a significant direct impact on physical health, property, and employment at 0.82, 0.81, and 0.48 respectively, with a p-value less than 0.001. Furthermore, tidal floods and physical health were also observed to have a significant but indirect impact on property damage and mobility with a decrease in value by 0.83 and 0.43 respectively, with a p-value less than 0.001. Results demonstrated that 10.65% of the coastal community in Sayung undertook protective actions, 12.57% made accommodation efforts, and 76.77?dressed their desire to migrate. Disaster response options are not mutually exclusive and can be combined. For instance, protection can be combined with accommodation, protection with relocation, accommodation with relocation, or even all three at once. Factors determining poor household responses to tidal floods were savings ownership, flood intensity, and infrastructural conditions, with an influence of 63.3%. With saving ownership, the community probability of migrating was higher compared to the probability of carrying out protective actions. The results showed that in areas affected by tidal floods, the resilience condition of the area is classified as vulnerable. Tidal floods had an implication for gatras (aspects) of national resilience. Several aspects in the static dimension that are significantly affected by tidal floods were geographic, demographic, and natural resources, while in the dynamic aspect, tidal floods impacted economic and socio cultural aspects.
