Implementasi Preventive Maintenance dalam Perusahaan Industri Proses Studi Kasus PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Divisi Bogasari Flour Mills

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas implementasi preventive maintenance (PM) di PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Divisi Bogasari Flour Mills. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada identifikasi faktor sumber daya manusia, teknis, alokasi anggaran, dan fleksibilitas produksi yang berdampak pada keberhasilan pelaksanaan PM. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis tematik, ditemukan bahwa permasalahan aspek sumber daya manusia dalam hal operasional teknisi dan kurangnya kepatuhan terhadap prosedur menjadi hambatan utama. Masalah teknis terkait dengan usia mesin yang sudah tua serta ketersediaan spare part juga mempengaruhi efektivitas PM. Selain itu, keterbatasan anggaran dan jadwal produksi yang padat menghambat pelaksanaan pemeliharaan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyarankan adanya penetapan standard opersional yang baku dan peningkatan kompetensi melalui pelatihan rutin, perbaikan sistem alokasi anggaran, serta integrasi yang lebih baik antara departemen produksi dan maintenance untuk meningkatkan hasil dari implementasi PM.

This study aims to highlight the factors that influence the effectiveness of preventive maintenance (PM) implementation at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, Bogasari Flour Mills Division. The focus of this study is to identify human resource, technical, budget allocation, and production documentation factors that impact the success of PM implementation. We used a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis and found that the main challenges were the limitations of technician’s competence and compliance with procedures. Technical problems related to the age of the machine and the availability and the quality of spare parts also affected the effectiveness of PM. In addition, budget constraints and tight production schedules hampered optimal maintenance implementation. This study suggests establishment of standard operational standards, increasing competence through regular training, improving the budget allocation system, and better integrating the production and maintenance departments to improve the results of PM implementation.
