The Role of Happiness on Impulsive Buying Behavior Among Late Adolescents

kebahagiaan telah menjadi upaya dasar manusia sejak awal keberadaan kita,
sebagai tujuan hidup yang utama. Pencarian untuk pemenuhan ini telah mencapai
titik kritis di mana dapat menyebabkan perilaku yang merugikan, seperti impulsive
buying behavior, di mana pembelian dilakukan secara spontan tanpa evaluasi
yang menyeluruh. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengkaji peran antara happiness
dan impulsive buying behavior di kalangan remaja akhir. Dengan
menggunakan sampel sebanyak 113 remaja akhir, kami melakukan analisis regresi
untuk menyelidiki kebahagiaan sebagai prediktor impulsive buying behavior.
Sesuai dengan hipotesis, temuan kami menunjukkan bahwa happiness secara
signifikan memprediksi 9.4?ri varians dalam skor total impulsive buying
behavior. Pada tingkat yang kecil, happiness dapat berdampak negatif
terhadap perilaku impulsive buying behavior. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat
mengisi celah dalam studi mengenai happiness dan impulsive buying
behavior.
The
pursuit of happiness has been a fundamental human endeavor since the inception
of our existence, serving as a central life objective. This quest for fulfillment
has reached a critical point where it can lead to detrimental behaviors, such
as impulsive buying behavior, where buying is driven by spontaneous acts
without thorough evaluation. This study attempts to examine the relationship
between happiness and impulsive buying behavior among late adolescents.
Utilizing a sample of 113 late adolescents, we conducted a regression analysis
to investigate happiness as the predictor for impulsive buying behavior. As
hypothesized, our findings indicate that happiness significantly predicted 9.4%
of the variance in impulsive buying behavior. On a small level, happiness can
negatively impact impulsive buying behavior. This study addresses a critical
gap by examining the connection between happiness and impulsive buying
behavior. In the hope of filling the blank spaces in the study of happiness and
impulsive buying behavior.
