PENGARUH PENCUKURAN RAMBUT DAN PEMBERIAN HORMON PELEPAS GONADOTROPIN (GnRH) TERHADAP STATUS FAALI DAN PROFIL DARAH DOMBA LOKAL JANTAN Advian Citra Perdana 99/128794/PT/03881 INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pencukuran rambut dan pemberian hormon pelepas Gonadotropin (GnRH) terhadap status faali dan profil darah domba lokal jantan. Sepuluh ekor domba lokal dibagi secara acak menjadi dua kelompok. jantan Kelompok pertama sebagai kontrol disuntik dengan aquabidestilata steril 2,0 ml/ekor tanpa pencukuran rambut dan kelompok kedua sebagai perlakuan disuntik dengan hormon pelepas Gonadotropin (GnRH) dengan dosis 0,1 ml/ekor disertai pencukuran rambut. Hormon diberikan secara subkutan seminggu 2 kali selama 76 hari. Dilakukan pengukuran status faali dan pemeriksaan profil darah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode Student't-test. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kombinasi antara pencukuran rambut dan pemberian hormon pelepas Gonadotropin (GnRH) tidak memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap status faali" dan profil darah domba penelitian. Rerata frekuensi respirasi, frekuensi detak jantung, temperatur tubuh, jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, PCV (Packed Cell Volume), TPP (Total Protein Plasma), jumlah leukosit, persentase neutrofil, eosinofil, basofil, limfosit, dan monosit domba kelompok kontrol vs kelompok perlakuan berturut-turut adalah 25,39 vs 26,26 kali/menit, 78,75 vs 81,64 kali/menit, 39,14 vs 38,93 °C, 10,69 vs 11,54 jt/mm3 , 8,57 vs 9,33 g/dl, 28,5 vs 29,6%, 6,45 vs 6,87 g/dl, 8,44 vs 9,43 ribu/mm3 , 41,1 vs 40,0%, 5,0 vs 6,3%, 0,35 vs 0,20%, 50,9 vs 50,3 %, dan 2,45 vs 3,20%. Perbedaan pada beberapa variabel status faali dan profil darah masih berada pada kisaran normal sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tubuh domba lokal jantan mampu beradaptasi dengan perlakuan kombinasi antara pencukuran rambut dan pemberian preparat hormon pelepas Gonadotropin (GnRH). THE INFLUENCE OF CLIPPING AND GONADOTROPIN RELEASING HORMONE (GnRH) INJECTION ON THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATUS AND BLOOD PROFILE OF LOCAL RAM Advian Citra Perdana 99/128794/PT/03881 ABSTRACT This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of clipping and Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) injection on the physiological status and blood profile of local ram. Ten heads of local ram were randomly devided into two groups, namely first as a control and second group as a treated groups. Control group were injected with 2,0 ml/head steril blood profile were measured. The collected data aquabidestilata without clipping and treated group were clipped and injected with 0,1 ml/head Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH). Either steril aquabidestilata or hormone were given by subcutaneus injection twice a week, lasted for 76 days. Physiological status and were analyzed by student's t-test method. The result showed that combination of clipping and Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) injection were not significantly difference (P>0,05) with physiological status and blood profile.
