Effect of Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude and Financial Behavior on Financial Literacy in Yogyakarta Special Province

The financial literacy of people living in the province of Yogyakarta is low. The low financial literacy is influenced by financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial behavior. This study aims to examine the influence of financial knowledge variables, financial attitudes, and financial behavior partially on financial literacy. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The survey method was carried out by distributing questionnaires online. The research sample was 190 people living in the special province of Yogyakarta aged 18-35 years who were determined using purposive sampling method. The research instrument was tested for validity using Pearson product momen correlation analysis, and reliability using Cronbach's alpha test. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of a google form distributed online. The data analysis technique in this research uses multiple regression. The results showed that the variables of financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and financial behavior partially had a significant positive effect on financial literacy. The most dominant independent variable affecting financial literacy is financial attitude.
