KONSEP CINTA DIRI DITINJAU DARI TEORI INTERAKSIONISME SIMBOLIK GEORGE HERBERT MEAD

Penelitian ini membedah diskursus terkait pembentukan konsep cinta diri dalam diri individu-individu di masyarakat dengan menggunakan perspektif Teori Interaksionisme Simbolik George Herbert Mead. Fokus dari penelitian ini mengkaji tentang proses interaksi sosial yang membentuk konsep cinta diri dalam diri individu. Selanjutnya, mengenai penerapan konsep cinta diri dalam diri individu yang dapat memengaruhi tatanan dan dinamika sosial di masyarakat. Serta pembahasan terkait konsep cinta diri yang diekspresikan sebagai realitas simbolik dalam interaksi antar individu. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti mengenai pemahaman lebih dalam akan proses pembentukan serta pengaruh dari konsep cinta diri pada diri individu di Masyarakat.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif di bidang filsafat yang menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan cara merefleksikan secara filosofis suatu konsep sebagai topik aktual di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hermeneutika dengan analisis hasil unsur metodis berupa analisis kritis, interpretasi, deskripsi, induksi dan identifikasi, serta refleksi kritis penulis. Bahan utama penelitian ini berfokus pada hasil kajian-kajian terdahulu mengenai berbagai topik terkait konsep cinta diri. Bahan-bahan yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan perspektif dari Teori Interaksionisme Simbolik George Herbert Mead.

Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pertama, konsep cinta diri di dalam diri dapat terbentuk oleh interaksi sosial antara individu dengan masyarakat melalui proses pembentukan pikiran. Kedua, individu yang memahami dan menerapkan konsep cinta diri dapat memengaruhi tatanan dan dinamika sosial di masyarakat, melalui perkembangan pola interaksi sosial antar individu yang diawali dengan munculnya diri dalam individu. Ketiga, konsep cinta diri dapat diekspresikan sebagai realitas simbolik di masyarakat berupa penggunaan bahasa.

This study examines the discourse related to the formation of the concept of self-love within individuals in society, using the perspective of George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interactionism Theory. The focus of this study is to examine the process of social interaction that forms the concept of self-love within individuals. Furthermore, it discusses the application of the concept of self-love within individuals, which can influence the social order and dynamics in society. Also, the discussion related to the concept of self-love is expressed as a symbolic reality within interactions between individuals. This research is motivated by the researcher's interest in gaining a deeper understanding about the process of formation and the influence of the concept of self-love within individuals in society.

This study is qualitative research in the field of philosophy that has used literature review by philosophically reflecting a concept as an actual topic in society. This study has used hermeneutic method with methodical elemental analysis including critical analysis, interpretation, description, induction and identification, as well as the author's critical reflection. The main materials of this research focus on the results of previous studies on various topics related to the concept of self-love. The collected materials were analyzed using the perspective of George Herbert Mead's Theory of Symbolic Interactionism.

The research findings indicate that, first, the concept of self-love within oneself can be formed by social interactions between individuals and society through the process of thought formation. Second, individuals who understand and apply the concept of self-love can influence the social order and dynamics in society through the development of social interaction patterns among individuals, which begins with the emergence of the self within individuals. Third, the concept of self-love can be expressed as a symbolic reality in society through the use of language.
