The raw materials are  allyl chloride  from Kashima Chemical Co., LTD, Japan and sodium hydroxide from PT Asahimas Chemical, Cilegon.. Allyl chloride and sodium hydroxide are reacted in a  CSTR at 13 atm and  150 °C under isothermal and non-adiabatic condition. The reaction produces allyl alcohol as the main product and sodium chloride and diallyl ether as by-products. The reactor products then passed into a flash drum to separate the allyl alcohol product, residual allyl chloride and diallyl ether from sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride. Allyl alcohol is separated from allyl chloride and diallyl ether by purification using  distillation tower. The allyl alcohol produced by this plant has 99% purity.The allyl alcohol plant will be constructed in Kawasan Industri Cilegon, Cilegon, Banten within  24.64 hectares area  and operated by 116 employees. The required materials are 202,039.20 tons/year of allyl chloride and 288,288.00 tons/year of sodium hydroxide. Electricity required for this plant is estimated at 1435.2525 HP. Total air and water required respectively at 543223,9746 kg/hour and 440685,3036 kg/hour.The plant requires $223,705,235.48 fixed capital and  $49,647,481.13 working capital. This plant is classified as a high risk plant with an ROI before tax of 30.56%, POT before tax of 2.466 years, BEP of 51.41%, SDP of 27.51%, and DCFRR of 21.1%. Pabrik ini memproduksi alil alkohol dari bahan baku alil klorida dari Kashima Chemical Co., LTD., Jepang dan natrium hidroksida dari PT. Asahimas Chemical, Cilegon. Pabrik ini menggunakan proses hidrolisis alil klorida untuk produksi alil klorida. Alil klorida dan natrium hidroksida direaksikan dalam reaktor alir berpengaduk pada tekanan 13 atm dan suhu 150 °C dengan reaksi isotermal dan non-adiabatis. Reaksi menghasilkan alil alkohol sebagai produk utama dan natrium klorida dan dialil eter sebagai produk samping. Hasil reaktor kemudian diteruskan ke dalam flash drum untuk dipisahkan antara produk alil alkohol, sisa alil klorida dan dialil eter dari natrium hidroksida dan natrium klorida. Alil alkohol dipisahkan dari alil klorida dan dialil eter dengan pemurnian menggunakan menara distilasi. Alil alkohol yang diproduksi pabrik ini menghasilkan kemurnian sebesar 99%.

Pabrik alil alkohol didirikan di Kawasan Industri Cilegon, Cilegon, Banten dengan luas 24,64 hektar dan dioperasikan oleh 116 karyawan. Bahan baku dibutuhkan alil klorida sebanyak 202.039,20 ton/tahun dan natrium hidroksida sebanyak 288.288,00 ton/tahun. Listrik yang dibutuhkan pabrik ini diperkirakan sebesar 1435,2525 HP. Total udara dan air diperkirakan dibutuhkan masing-masing 543223,9746 kg/jam dan  440685,3036 kg/jam.

Pabrik ini dapat berjalan dengan modal tetap sebesar $223.705.235,48 dan modal kerja sebesar $49.647.481,13. Pabrik ini tergolong dalam kategori pabrik high risk dengan nilai ROI before tax sebesar 30,56%, POT before tax sebesar 2,466 tahun, BEP sebesar 51,41%, SDP sebesar 27,51%, dan DCFRR sebesar 21,1%. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi ekonomi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik ini menarik secara ekonomi dan layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.
