The Impacts of team building training on employee's job and organizational commitment with group cohesiveness as the moderating variable of Pura Group

2004 | Tesis | Magister ManajemenTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Pelatihan Pengembangan Tim oleh Pura Group berpengaruh terhadap komitmen kerja dan organisasi karyawan dan juga keterikatan kelompok diantara mereka, serta perbedaannya dengan karyawan yang belum mengikuti pelatihan. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan Pura Group yang telah mengikuti pelatihan sebanyak kurang lebih 400 orang. Dari jumlah tersebut diambil sebagai sampel sebanyak 55 orang, atau lebih dari 10% populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengembangan tim sebagai variabel bebas tidak berpengaruh terhadap keterikatan kelompok karena menunjukkan hasil yang tidak signifikan. Nilai C.R hitung hanya 1.914, dibandingkan C.R tabel, dengan level signifikansi pada 0.05 adalah 2.01. Hubungan pelatihan pengembangan tim dengan komitmen kerja signifikan pada level C.R hitung 2.97 dan hasil signifikan juga ada pada komitmen organisasi C.R 2.69. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan hanya pada komitmen organisasi terdapat perbedaan antara karyawan yang sudah/belum mengikuti pelatihan. Level signifikansinya .000 sedangkan dua lainnya yang tidak signifikan adalah .630 untuk komitmen kerja dan pada level 1.000 untuk keterikatan kelompok.
The aims of this research is to know whether the training programs that conducted by Pura Group Kudus can affect the employees’ job commitment and organizational commitment, and group cohesiveness among them and also to know the differences of job commitment and organizational commitment, and group cohesiveness among the employees who have/have not done the training program. The population used in this research was taken from Pura Group’s employees but limited to which those already participated in the team building training program. By using random sampling, samples being taken for this research are 55 employees who already have participated in the training program or more than 10% of the population which is consists of about 400 employees. The research finding show that team building training as independent variable has no impact to group cohesiveness of employees as moderating variable because it was not significant. Value of calculated C.R was only 1.914, smaller than C.R table, which at the significant level 0.05 are 2.01. Team building training with job commitment has significant number at level C.R (2.97) bigger than C.R table (2.01) and also with organization commitment at significant level C.R (2.69) bigger C.R table (2.01). The result proof that only organization commitment with significant level at .000 that has differences, another two were not proven at level .630 for job commitment and at level 1.000 for group cohesiveness, means there is no difference at all between employee who have/have not done the team building training.
