Peran Broaden and Build Teori Secara Eksperimental: Orientasi Khas Membangun Kompetensi Khusus Mahasiswa

Penelitian ini meninjau orientasi mahasiswa mempengaruhi kompetensi umum, kemudian menginvestigasi bagaimana orientasi khas mahasiswa mempengaruhi kompetensi khusus. Selain itu menyelidiki teori yang memperluas dan membangun dengan emosi positif berupa kebahagiaan, minat, dan antisipasi yang memengaruhi kognisi siswa bergantung pada pengetahuan yang dimiliki sebelumnya. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mengusulkan bahwa orientasi yang khas mempengaruhi kompetensi khusus ; student achievement yang lebih tinggi setiap kali mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh emosi positif. Metodologi, penelitian ini melakukan desain eksperimental memberikan pertanyaan yang mengandung emosi positif (reward dan formula). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merancang design eksperimen 4x4 yaitu empat orientasi khusus yang mempengaruhi empat kompetensi spesifik, yang menunjukkan student achievement sebagai konsekuensi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi siswa mempengaruhi kompetensi secara umum, kemudian kemampuan kognitif siswa memperdalam hubungan antara orientasi tipikal dan kompetensi spesifik, selain itu emosi positif mempengaruhi konstruksi kognitif mahasiswa sehingga mengoptimalkan hasil pembelajaran mahasiswa.

This study reviews that students’ orientations affect competencies generally. Moreover, it investigates broaden-and-build theory with positive emotions of happiness, interest and anticipation that influence student cognitions depending on previous endowment knowledge. Thus it proposes that typical students’ orientations influence their specific competencies, strengthening the lex specialist concept of knowledge acquisition; Student achievement is higher whenever students are influenced by positive emotions. The methodology of this research uses the experimental design by asking questions containing positive emotions (rewards and formulas). Therefore, this research designs an experimental setting 4x4 with four typical orientations affecting four specific competencies which shows student achievement as consequence of research. This study finds that students’ orientations affect competencies generally. Moreover, students’ cognitive endowment differences deepen these associations between typical orientations and specific competencies. Therefore, positive emotions influence the construction of students’ cognitive in order to optimizing student learning outcomes
