PERTAUTAN SENI DAN TEKNOLOGI : STUDI KASUS MODEL KREATIVITAS KOMUNITAS SENI JOGJA VIDEO MAPPING PROJECT (JVMP) DALAM KARYA VIDEO MAPPING SUMONAR 2023

Video mapping adalah salah satu teknik terbaru dalam menampilkan konten visual dengan mengubah permukaan fasad bangunan sebagai media untuk memproyeksikan video/seni visual dengan menghadirkan impresi dan efek imersif bagi para penontonnya. Di Yogyakarta, terdapat festival pertunjukan video mapping pertama di Indonesia yang secara konsisten diselenggarakan sejak tahun 2019-2023 yang disebut Sumonar oleh komunitas seni Jogja Video mapping Project (JVMP) di ruang publik dan ruang interior. Pendekatan ini sangat menarik karena menggunakan area publik untuk mendekatkan seni kepada penonton. Tulisan ini membahas terkait model-model kreativitas dalam praktik seni kolektif komunitas yang berlangsung di balik proyek seni Sumonar 2023 dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui Teori Creative Modelss Vlad dan Glavenau, Screenology hingga Kreativitas L.H. Chapman. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada beberapa seniman anggota komunitas, curator, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas kolektif pada komunitas seni JVMP terbentuk melalui aspek perbedaan, posisi, perspektif, dialog dan keterjangkauan. Integrasi antara Screenology dan praktik video mapping yang dilakukan berpengaruh pada 3 ranah aspek penting dalam seni, karya: Video mapping yang direpresentasikan melalui event Sumonar, system : dengan penggunaan Teknologi sebagai alat dan media dalam mencapai ide-ide kreatif seniman, dan nilai: dalam Seni dibidang Budaya dan Sosial, dimana layar terus memainkan peran sentral dalam ekspresi artistik dan keterlibatan publik dalam penyatuan visi Affandi dan Sudjojono, penguatan nilai sosial yang membuat hubungan yang lebih dalam antara seni, teknologi, dan masyarakat di ranah intepretasi estetika warna dan narasi budaya.

Video mapping is one of the latest techniques for displaying visual content by transforming the surfaces of building facades into a medium for projecting video/visual art, creating an immersive impression and effects for the audience. In Yogyakarta, there is the first video mapping performance festival in Indonesia, which has been consistently held from 2019 to 2023, called SUMONAR, organized by the Jogja Video mapping Project community in public spaces and interior areas. This approach is very interesting because it uses public spaces to bring art closer to the audience. This research discusses the models of creativity in the practisce of community collective art behind the SUMONAR 2023 artproject, using a case study approach through Vlad and Glavenau's Creative Models Theory, Screenology, and L.H. Chapman's Creativity. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with several artists who are members of the community, curators, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that collective creativity in the JVMP art community is formed through aspects of difference, position, perspective, dialogue, and accessibility. The integration between Screenology and the practice of video mapping has a significant impact on three key aspects of artistic expression. The artwork in question is as follows: Video mapping is exemplified by the SUMONAR event, which demonstrates the use of technology as a tool and medium to achieve the creative ideas of artists. In the field of cultural and social arts, the screen continues to play a central role in artistic expression and public engagement, as evidenced by the uniting of the visions of Affandi and Sudjojono. This serves to strengthen social values that create a deeper connection between art, technology, and society in the realm of aesthetic interpretation of color and cultural narrative.
