Analisis Dampak Subsidi dan Jenis Operator Terhadap Kinerja Operasional Bus Rapid Transit Perkotaan “TEMAN BUS” di Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh subsidi terhadap loading factor dan jenis operator terhadap revenue Bus Rapid Transit Perkotaan “TEMAN BUS” dengan skema Buy The Service di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deksriptif kuantitatif dengan metode regresi kausalitas untuk membuktikan pengaruh subsidi terhadap loading factor dan pengaruh jenis operator terhadap revenue. Data yang digunakan adalah kombinasi antara data lintas karakteristik (cross-section) pada 10 Kota Implementasi Program Buy The Service dan data deret waktu (time-series) pada rentang bulan Agustus tahun 2020 hingga bulan Mei tahun 2024 dengan basis data per bulan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara jenis operator dengan revenue, sementara tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara subsidi dengan loading factor. Signifikansi subsidi tergantung pada bagaimana subsidi diimplementasikan dan ditargetkan. Peningkatan performa loading factor membutuhkan strategi komprehensif yang mencakup efisiensi operasional dan peningkatan kualitas layanan.

This study aims to analyze the effect of subsidies on the loading factor and the type of operator on the revenue of the Urban Rapid Transit Bus “TEMAN BUS” with the Buy The Service scheme in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with the causality regression method to prove the effect of subsidies on the loading factor and the effect of the type of operator on revenue. The data used is a combination of cross-section data in 10 cities implementing the Buy The Service Program and time-series data from August 2020 to May 2024 on a monthly basis.

The results show that there is a significant relationship between operator type and revenue, while there is no significant relationship between subsidy and loading factor. The significance of subsidies depends on how they are implemented and targeted. Improving loading factor performance requires a comprehensive strategy that includes operational efficiency and service quality improvement.
