Novel KKN di Desa Penari Karya Simpleman: Analisis Alur Menurut Robert Stanton

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis alur di dalam novel KKN di Desa Penari dengan menggunakan teori struktural oleh Robert Stanton. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada (1) peristiwa dan episode yang terkandung di dalam novel dan (2) tahapan alur, plausibilitas, suspense, dan surprise di dalam novel KKN di Desa Penari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa novel KKN di Desa Penari terdiri dari 163 peristiwa dan 23 episode. Tahapan alur menunjukkan bahwa alur dalam novel adalah alur campuran. Konflik di dalam novel juga beragam, baik konflik internal maupun eksternal. Plausibilitas dimanfaatkan ole penulis pada pelaksanaan KKN, kemalangan yang menimpa Widya, kemalangan yang menimpa Nur, respons terhadap rasa kopi, hajatan desa, kehadiran yang ghaib, sejarah desa, dan sosok sang penari. Suspense dimanfaatkan pada kejadian yang menimpa Widya, Bima, dan Ayu, juga pada hukuman yang diperoleh Bima dan Ayu. Surprise muncul pada bingkisan berisi kepala monyet, kemalangan Bima dan Ayu, juga kedekatan Bima dan Ayu.

This study aims to analyze the plot in the novel KKN di Desa Penari using structural theory by Robert Stanton. The problem formulation in this research is focused on (1) the events and episodes contained in the novel and (2) the stages of plot, plausibility, suspense, and surprise in the novel KKN di Desa Penari. Data collection was carried out using the observation technique and data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The study shows that the novel KKN di Desa Penari consists of 163 events and 23 episodes. The stages of the plot show that the plot in the novel is mixed. The conflicts in the novel are also diverse, both internal and external conflicts. Plausibility is utilized by the author in the implementation of KKN, the misfortune that befell Widya, the misfortune that befell Nur, the response to the taste of coffee, the village celebration, the presence of the supernatural, the history of the village, and the figure of the dancer. Suspense is utilized in the events that befell Widya, Bima, and dan Ayu, as well as in the punishments received by Bima and Ayu. Surprise appears in the parcel containing the monkey's head, Bima and Ayu's misfortune, and also the closeness of Bima and Ayu.
