INTISARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi karyawan PT. Bekaert Indonesia terhadap adopsi Manufacturing Execution System (MES) dengan

menggunakan kerangka Perceived Characteristics of Innovation (PCI). Latarbelakang penelitian ini berfokus pada tuntutan bisnis perusahaan untuk tetap kompetitif melalui penerapan teknologi seperti MES. Namun, implementasi MESdihadapkan pada tantangan terkait konsistensi karyawan dalam menggunakan nyasecara efektif.

Penelitian ini juga mengevaluasi sikap karyawan terhadap penggunaan MES serta variasi persepsi berdasarkan profil responden, seperti usia, lama bekerja, dan

frekuensi penggunaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert 1-5,

melibatkan 278 responden dari bagian Produksi, Maintenance, dan Quality Control. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada September 2024 untuk memberikan wawasan

yang tepat waktu mengenai adopsi teknologi ini. Dalam penelitian ini, model pengukuran berbasis Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi validitas dan reliabilitas hubungan antara indikator dan konstruk laten.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar komponen PCI, seperti Keuntungan Relatif, Citra, Kesesuaian, dan Keteramatan Hasil, memperoleh skor tinggi. Namun, variabel Kemudahan Pengguna masih menunjukkan persepsi sedang, yang mengindikasikan adanya tantangan teknis dan hambatan operasional.

Secara umum, sikap karyawan terhadap penggunaan MES positif, menunjukkan penerimaan sistem ini sebagai bagian dari kegiatan operasional harian.

Temuan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan, dukungan teknis yang lebih memadai, dan program insentif untuk mendorong

penggunaan MES secara konsisten. Selain itu, rotasi pekerjaan dapat membantu meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan dalam penggunaan teknologi ini. Implikasi

praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya perusahaan untuk memahami kendala dan persepsi negatif yang dihadapi karyawan dalam penggunaan MES guna

memastikan keberhasilan keberlanjutan implementasi dan peningkatan efisiensi operasional.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the employees' perceptions of PT. Bekaert Indonesia regarding the adoption of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
using the framework of the Perceived Characteristics of Innovation (PCI). The background of this research focuses on the company's business demands to remain
competitive through the implementation of technologies such as MES. However, the implementation of MES faces challenges related to employees' consistency in using
it effectively.

This study also evaluates employees' attitudes toward using MES and explores variations in perception based on respondent profiles, such as age, tenure,
and frequency of use. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive design, with data collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale
of 1-5. A total of 278 respondents from the Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control departments participated in the survey. Data collection was conducted in
September 2024 to ensure the findings reflect the current state of technology adoption. In this study, the measurement model based on Partial Least SquaresStructural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to evaluate the validity and reliability of the relationships between indicators and latent constructs.

The results reveal that most PCI components, such as Relative Advantage, Image, Compatibility, and Result Demonstrability, achieved high scores. However,
the Ease of Use variable still reflects a moderate perception, indicating the presence of technical challenges and operational barriers. In general, employees'
attitudes toward using MES are positive, indicating acceptance of the system as part of daily operations.

The findings emphasize the importance of continuous training, adequate technical support, and incentive programs to encourage consistent use of MES.
Additionally, job rotation programs could further enhance employee engagement with the technology. The practical implication of this research is that companies
need to understand the challenges and negative perceptions faced by employees in using MES to ensure the successful continuation of its implementation and improve
operational efficiency.
