Salah satu Karakteristik pola pekarangan adalah keanekaragaman jenis
penyusun. Ragam jenis penyusun dalam pekarangan mempunyai korelasi terhadap
fungsi pekarangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pekarangan
yang ada di Oesa N glanggeran ·berdasarkan komponen penyusunny<½ mengetahui
komposisi jenis serta visualisasinya dan pemanfaatan ruang pada pola pekarangan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan sampel acak, dengan
mengambil sampel 31 pekarangan secara acak yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan
komponen vegetasi penyusun. Pada setiap sampel dibuat petak ukur IO x 10 m
kemudian dicatat semua vegetasi yang ada. Analisis pola pekarangart dan
pemanfaatan ruang menggunakan metode deskriptif sedangkan untuk analisis
komposisi jenis dengan menghitung Indeks Nilai Penting (INP).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ter One of homegarden system characteristic the diversity of its species
components. Species types of home garden correlated positively with its function.
This research aims at identify of home garden pattern in Nglanggeran village
based its components, species composition and space utilization in home garden
system.
This research was done with survey and random sampling methods, by
taking 31 homegarden samples randomly then grouped to species composition. In
each sample, a sample plot of 10 m x 10 m in size was made and all vegetation
was recorded. The identification of Homegarden pattern and space utilization
were analyzed descriptively, while that of species composition was analyzed by
using Importance Value Index (IVl) .
Result shows, there are 6 homegarden pattern in Nglanggeran Kulon Sub
Village, i.e. Pattern A (average size of 1250 m2, component of forest trees, mpts
and fruit yield component), pattern B (average size of 1026,67 m2
, component of
forest trees, mpts and food crop component), pattern C (average size of 1555,39
m2, component of forest trees, mpts, fruit yield and food crop), pattern D (average
size of 870 m2
, component of forest trees, mpts, food crop and medicinal plants),
pattern E (average size of 1309,38 nl, component of forest trees, mpts, fruit yield,
food crop dan medicinal plants), pattern F (average size of 1350 m2, component of
forest trees, mpts, fruit yield, food crop and other species). There are 58 species
all belonged to 39 families. The highest IVI value fruit yield component reached
by Teobroma cacao with value ????ndex 170,0 I at Pattern E, forest trees component
was achived by Swietenia macrophylla (124.53) at Pattern C, while that of mpts
component reached by Gnetum gnemon (60,17) at Pattern D. Vertical space
utilization of all home gardens pattern was dominated by strata II, i.e. 51,23 %;
59,28 %; 44,12 %; 77,31; 42,79 %; 57,98 % within pattern A, B, C, D, E and F
respectively while the average space utilization of all pattern of homegarden was
20, 58 %, 20,43 %, 17,83 %, 24,14 %, 13,37 % and 18,54 % for pattern A, B, C,
D, E, F respectively.
