ANALISIS HUBUNGAN AGRESIVITAS KERA EKOR PANJANG DENGAN PERSEPSI KENYAMANAN PENGUNJUNG (Studi Kasus di Obyek Wisata Tlogo Putri, Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi)

Agresivitas kera ekor panjang akan mcmpengaruhi kenyamanan pengunjung dalam berwisata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran distribusi frekuensi empat tingkat agrcsivitas kera rnenurut jenis kelamin dan kelompok umur ken,, distribusi frekuensi empat tingkat agresivitas kera menurut jenis kelamin dar, kelompok umur pengunjung. Perlu diketahui pula mengenai prcporsi persepsi kenyamanan pcngunjung terhaJap agresivitas kera, signifikansi korelasi antara tingkat agresivitas kera dengan persepsi kenyamanan pengunjung, serta tingkat ketertarikan pengunjung, pelajar, dan pedagang terhadap kera ekor panjang. Pengarnbilan data dilakukan dengan pen????amatan langsung di lapangan menggu:,akan metode purposive sampling. Kera yang berperilaku agr.????sif kepada pengunjung diamati dan pengunjung yang terkena agresivitas kera diberikan kuesioner. Dengan demikian, persep????·i kenyamanan pengunjung yang diperoleh 111erupaka11 persepsi pengunjung yang telah terkena agresivitas kera. nerdasarkan hasil pengamatan dapat diketahui bahwa total frekuensi agresivitas kera jantan selama pengamatan tercatat 5ebcsar 59, I%; kera betina sebesar 35,7%; ke:-a jantan ber????ama kera betina sel::esar 5,2%. Total frekuensi pengunjung laki-laki terkena agresivitas kera sebesar 45,5%; pengunjung perempuan sebesar 54,5%. Total persepsi pengunjung terhadap agresivitas kera tidak nyaman tercatat sebesar 37% dan persepsi nyaman sebesar 63%. Korelasi antara tingkat agresivitas kera dengan persepsi kenyamanan pengunjung terhitung signifikan dan l:,esar koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,218. Pengunjung menempatkan kera ekor panjang pada ranking ketertarikan ke-4, dan pelajar mcnempatkan kera pada ranking ketertarikan ke-15, serta pcdagang menempatkan kera pada ranking ketertarikan ke-10.
Long tail monkeys lived in the tourism area of Tlogo Putri showed quite aggn..:ssivc behaviors towards the visitors or the park. Their aggressivenes???? influenced the perception of salety among the visitors. The objective of this study was to obtai'1 a picture of frequency distribution of monkeys' four-level aggressiveness according tu their gender and age group and frequency distrib:.ition of monkeys' four-level aggressiveness based on visitors' gender and group age. Also, this study wanted to find out the proportion of safety perception among the visitors towards the aggressiveness of monkeys, the significance of correlation between monkeys aggressiveness and safety perception among the visitors, and the level of interests among the visitors, students, and traders towards the long tail monkeys. Data were colkcted by conducting field observations using the purposive sampling method. Aggressiveness of the monkeys towards the visitors was observed and the affected visitors were asked to fill the questionnaires. The safety perception of visitors, therefore, was the perception of those who were the victims of monkeys' aggressiveness. The observation revealed that the total frequency of male monkey aggressiveness during the observation period was 59.1 %; those of femak monkeys was 35.7%; joint aggressiveness performed by male-female monkeys was 5.2%. The total frequency male visitors attacked by monkeys was 45.5%; and female visitors, 54.5%. The percentage from the total visitors who perceived unsafe due to :he aggressiveness of monkeys was 37%, while 63% of them felt safe. The co1 relaLion between the level of monkey:;' aggressiveness and the perception of safety among the visitors was significant and the correlation coefficient was -0.218. The visitors rated the long tail monkeys on the 4th top interesting objects, students rated them on th·e 15th , and traders put the on the IOt11 •
