Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan terdepan di Indonesia. UGM fokus memberikan layanan dan fasilitas terbaik untuk menunjang seluruh proses pembelajaran atau perkuliahan agar memberikan dampak baik kepada seluruh mahasiswa. Fasilitas yang terdapat pada UGM diharapkan dapat merata, termasuk mahasiswa doktoral atau Strata 3. Mahasiswa doktoral Ilmu Komputer UGM memiliki ruang belajar yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang seluruh kegiatan perkuliahan karena memiliki fasilitas yang dibutuhkan seperti komputer yang memiliki spesifikasi tinggi. Akan tetapi, absennya proses reservasi yang terstruktur mengakibatkan pemanfaatan ruang ini menjadi kurang optimal dan berpotensi menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan bagi pengguna. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, dirancang sebuah website untuk memfasilitasi reservasi kursi pada ruang belajar doktoral ilmu komputer UGM. Website dapat digunakan untuk melakukan reservasi kursi pada ruang belajar tersebut. Website mempermudah proses reservasi dan menampilkan data reservasi, sehingga proses pemesanan dapat dilakukan dengan efisien dan datanya dapat dikelola dengan baik. Website dibangun dengan menggunakan framework Express Js untuk backend, Vue Js untuk frontend, Apache server dan MySQL untuk database. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa website reservasi pada ruang belajar doktoral ilmu komputer UGM telah layak digunakan oleh pengguna serta memudahkan proses reservasi kursi pada ruang belajar tersebut. Website reservasi kursi memiliki nilai berhasil 100% pada functional testing, nilai rata-rata beta testing 91,19%, dan website reservasi kursi menunjukan performa yang sangat baik berdasarkan lighthouse dengan hasil nilai rata-rata untuk performance dengan nilai 95,25, accessibility dengan nilai 94,25, best practice dengan nilai 96,125, dan SEO (search engine optimization) nilai 83.

Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is one of the leading educational institutions in Indonesia. UGM focuses on providing the best services and facilities to support the entire learning process, aiming to have a positive impact on all students. The facilities at UGM are expected to be evenly distributed, including for doctoral or Strata 3 students. Doctoral students in Computer Science at UGM have a study room equipped with high-specification computers to support their academic activities. However, the absence of a structured reservation process results in suboptimal utilization of this space and may cause inconvenience to users. To address this issue, a website was designed to facilitate seat reservations in the doctoral study room of UGM's Computer Science department. The website allows users to reserve seats in the study room. It simplifies the reservation process and displays reservation data, ensuring that the booking process is efficient and data is well-managed. The website is built using the Express JS framework for the backend, Vue JS for the frontend, Apache server, and MySQL for the database. The research results indicate that the reservation website for the doctoral study room in UGM's Computer Science department is suitable for use and effectively facilitates the seat reservation process. The seat reservation website achieved a 100% success rate in functional testing, with an average beta testing score of 91.19%. The website demonstrated excellent performance based on Lighthouse results, with an average score of 95.25 for performance, 94.25 for accessibility, 96.125 for best practices, and 83 for SEO (search engine optimization).
