Real-time monitoring of drilling activities is crucial for enabling drilling teams to directly observe drilling conditions through chart visualizations, facilitating prompt identification and response to potential issues. One of the primary concerns in drilling operations is stuck pipe, which can result in significant financial and time losses. Therefore, a system capable of detecting and displaying pipe status in real-time is essential for swift and accurate decision-making. Additionally, providing a history feature for accessing and managing historical data is vital for further analysis. This project aims to design a web-based visualization system for drilling sensor activities at PT Parama Data Unit, focusing on real-time drilling data display, implementation of a rule-based alert system for anomaly detection, and provision of a history feature for historical data access. To achieve these objectives, the research utilizes the Laravel framework for web application development and incorporates the jQuery library to optimize frontend-backend interactions.
The system has undergone rigorous testing, including black box testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and load testing. Black box testing results indicate that the system's functionality performs as expected. Overall, UAT demonstrates favorable outcomes, with scores of 85.71% for user roles and 88% for admin roles, both categorized as excellent. Specifically, the alert system and history features each achieved scores of 88%, also falling within the excellent category. The alert system was successfully tested by inputting 10 anomalous data points meeting each relevant rule, with all anomalies successfully displayed on the user interface with appropriate alert messages. In terms of load testing, the system's average response time when accessed by 50 concurrent users remained within acceptable parameters, demonstrating consistency across various scenarios and iterations. This system is expected to assist drilling teams in enhancing efficiency and mitigating the risk of losses due to undetected drilling issues.
