Keberlanjutan telah menjadi aspek penting bagi organisasi saat ini, dan mereka mulai menyadari pentingnya mengintegrasikan praktik keberlanjutan ke dalam operasional untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Dalam upaya ini, manajemen sumber daya manusia hijau memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja lingkungan organisasi dengan mengintegrasikan keberlanjutan ke dalam praktik-praktik inti sumber daya manusia, seperti perekrutan, pelatihan, dan pengembangan. Berdasarkan hal ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh manajemen sumber daya manusia hijau terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan karyawan di industri fintech di Myanmar. Teori Perilaku Terencana (TPB) diterapkan dalam pengembangan kerangka konseptual dan hipotesis. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dari karyawan di salah satu Perusahaan fintech besar di Myanmar, dan semua analisis statistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Ketiga hipotesis yang diajukan didukung, yang menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku yang terkait dengan manajemen sumber daya manusia hijau secara positif mempengaruhi perilaku pro-lingkungan karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini memvalidasi teori dalam konteks industri dan memberikan implikasi teoretis melalui perluasan literatur, serta memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat diterapkan bagi perusahaan
Sustainability has become a
critical aspect for organisations nowadays, and they are recognising the
importance of incorporating sustainability practices into operations to mitigate
the environmental impact. In this effort, green human resource management plays
an imperative role in leveraging an organisation’s environmental performance by
integrating sustainability into the core human resource practices, such as
hiring, training and development. In light of this, the research aims to
address the influence of green human resource management on employee
pro-environmental behaviour in the fintech industry in Myanmar. The Theory of
Planned Behaviour (TPB) was incorporated into the conceptual framework and
hypothesis development. Quantitative approach was utilised for the data
collection from employees at one large fintech company in Myanmar, and all the
statistical analyses were carried out with SPSS software. The three proposed
hypotheses were supported, revealing attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived
behavioural control associated with green human resource management positively
influence employee pro-environmental behaviour.The findings validate the theory
in an industrial setting, and provide theoretical implications through the
literature expansion, while providing feasible recommendations for the fintech
firms in Myanmar to improve the implementation and effectiveness of green human
resource management.
