REPRESENTASI NILAI-NILAI SPORTIVITAS DALAM INSTAGRAM KLUB LIGA 1 INDONESIA (Analisis Semiotika pada Konten #PSSday Instagram @pssleman Musim Kompetisi 2022/2023)

Penelitian ini menjawab pertanyaan: bagaimana PSS menyajikan nilai-nilai sportivitas melalui konten Instagram @pssleman selama kompetisi Liga 1 Indonesia musim 2022/2023? Peneliti berharap penelitian ini dapat memberikan manfaat terutama sebagai acuan bagi klub-klub sepak bola Indonesia dalam mengelola informasi melalui kanal medianya sehingga memberikan kontribusi bagi iklim persepakbolaan tanah air yang positif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Analisis Semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka akan melengkapi metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Peneliti memilih 6 konten #PSSday yang menggunakan format video animasi.
Dengan pendekatan model triadic-bersisi tiga milik Pierce dengan komponen representamen, object, dan interpretant, peneliti melakukan pembacaan tanda yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan nilai-nilai sportivitas. Peneliti menemukan beberapa hal seperti pada aspek komitmen terhadap olahraga yang memuat kerja keras dan percaya diri sebagai faktornya. PSS memunculkan nilai-nilai itu terutama saat tim sedang melewati tren negatif akibat kekalahan-kekalahan yang didapat. Pada aspek pemahaman terhadap konvensi sosial, PSS menyelipkan pesan bahwa kekalahan harus diterima dengan sebagai bagian dari hasil pertandingan, termasuk di sana kebijaksanaan dalam mengakui keunggulan lawan. Nilai sportivitas lainnya yang juga ditemukan dalam konten #PSSday adalah sikap positif terhadap lawan. Konten yang menonjolkan semangat persahabatan disajikan sebagai langkah menekan benturan-benturan antar suporter yang selama ini kerap menjadi pemicu terjadinya tindakan kekerasan pada hari pertandingan. Pada beberapa konten, @pssleman mengemas video animasinya dengan gaya humor atau komedi. Kejenakaan menjadi alternatif dalam menghadirkan informasi secara hangat di tengah pusaran persepakbolaan nasional yang kerapkali dibungkus ketegangan fanatisme, rivalitas, dan rasa sentimental. Melalui cara tersebut PSS mengetengahkan kegembiraan dalam sepak bola.
This research answers the question: how does PSS present sportsmanship values through @pssleman Instagram content during the 2022/2023 Liga 1 Indonesia season competition? Researchers hope that this research can provide benefits, especially as a reference for Indonesian football clubs in managing information through their media channels so as to contribute to a positive Indonesian football climate. This research is a qualitative research with Charles Sanders Pierce Semiotic Analysis approach. Observation, documentation, and literature study will complement the data collection methods used. Researchers selected 6 #PSSday contents that use animated video format.
Using Pierce's triadic model approach with the components of representamen, object, and interpretant, the researcher read the signs which were then associated with sportsmanship values. The researcher found several things such as in the aspect of commitment to sports which includes hard work and self-confidence as factors. PSS raises these values especially when the team is going through a negative trend due to defeats. In the aspect of understanding social conventions, PSS slipped the message that defeat must be accepted as part of the match results, including the wisdom in recognizing the opponent's superiority. Another sportsmanship value found in #PSSday content is a positive attitude towards opponents. Content that emphasizes the spirit of friendship is presented as a step to reduce clashes between supporters, which have often triggered acts of violence on match days. In some content, @pssleman packages its animated videos in a humorous or comedic style. Antics become an alternative in presenting information warmly in the midst of the vortex of national football which is often wrapped in the tension of fanaticism, rivalry, and sentimentality. Through this method, PSS highlights the joy of football.
