Adopsi Petani Pada Program Usaha Tani Padi di Kabupaten Cirebon

INTISARI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis tingkat adopsi petani terhadap program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon; 2) Menganalisis faktor - faktor yang secara langsung mempengaruhi adopsi petani terhadap program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon dan 3) Menganalisis faktor - faktor yang secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi adopsi petani terhadap program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2023 sampai dengan Februari 2024 di Kabupaten Cirebon dan lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposive di tiga kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Gegesik, Kecamatan Suranenggala dan Kecamatan Kapetakan. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 106 petani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji proporsi dan SEM PLS. 

Hasil analisis tingkat adopsi menunjukkan sebagian besar (>50%) petani telah mengadopsi program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon pada kategori sering. Dari hasil analisis pengaruh langsung diketahui faktor kualitas layanan Jasindo, peran penyuluh dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi petani pada program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon. Faktor literasi asuransi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi petani pada program asuransi usaha tani padi di Kabupaten Cirebon. Faktor yang secara langsung berpengaruh paling kuat yaitu faktor motivasi. Hasil analisis pengaruh tidak langsung diketahui faktor kualitas layanan Jasindo, literasi asuransi dan peran penyuluh berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap adopsi melalui motivasi. Faktor yang secara tidak langsung berpengaruh paling kuat yaitu faktor kualitas layanan Jasindo.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to: 1) Analyze the level of farmer adoption of the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency; 2) Analyze the factors that directly influence farmers' adoption of the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency and 3) Analyze the factors that indirectly influence farmers' adoption of the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency. The research was conducted from December 2023 to February 2024 in Cirebon Regency. The research locations was selected purposively in three sub-districts namely Gegesik District, Suranenggala District and Kapetakan District. The number of samples in this study was 106 farmers. This research is a descriptive analysis research using a quantitative approach. The data analysis method uses the proportion test and SEM PLS.

The results of the adoption rate analysis show that the majority (>50%) of farmers have adopted the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency in the frequent category. From the direct influence analysis results, it is known that Jasindo's service quality factors, the role of extension workers, and motivation have a positive and significant influence on farmers' adoption of the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency. Insurance literacy factor has a negative and significant effect on farmers' adoption of the rice farming insurance program in Cirebon Regency. The factor that directly has the strongest influence is the motivation factor. The results of the analysis of indirect effects show that Jasindo's service quality factors, insurance literacy and the role of extension workers have a positive and significant effect the adoption through motivation. The factor that indirectly has the strongest influence is the Jasindo service quality factor.
