Tingkat Parasitasi Parasitoid Telur Penggerek Batang Padi Kuning (Scirpophaga incertulas) di Kabupaten Purworejo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan tingkat
parasitasi parasitoid telur penggerek
batang padi kuning (S. incertulas) di Kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian
dilaksanakan di lima kecamatan di Kabupaten Purworejo yaitu : Purworejo,
Gebang, Loano, Banyuurip dan Bener pada musim tanam I 2022/2023 dan musim tanam
II 2023. Metode penelitian dengan mengambil 3 hamparan dari tiap kecamatan. Pengamatan
dilakukan pada persemaian dan fase vegetatif dari masing-masing
hamparan. Pengamatan dilaksanakan di
lapangan dan laboratorium untuk mengetahui jumlah penggerek batang padi
kuning, jenis dan jumlah parasitoid
serta tingkat parasitasinya. Setiap hamparan diambil sampel 10 petak persemaian
pada fase semai dan lahan seluas 800 m² pada fase vegetatif umur 7-21 hari
setelah tanam Pengamatan pada fase vegetatif dilakukan pada umur 1, 2 dan 3
minggu setelah tanam. Variabel yang diamati meliputi jumlah kelompok telur yang
ditemukan, jenis dan jumlah parasitoid yang muncul dan tingkat parasitasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada
tiga jenis parasitoid telur yang memarasit
penggerek batang padi kuning (S.
incertulas) di Kabupaten Purworejo
yaitu : Telenomus sp. Trichogramma sp., dan Tetrastichus sp. Tingkat parasitasi untuk ketiga jenis parasitoid adalah Telenomus
sp 14,79% pada musim tanam I dan 12,96% pada musim tanam II, Trichogramma
sp 9,96% pada musim tanam I dan 6,30% pada musim tanam II, Tetrastichus
sp 28,91 % pada musim tanam I dan 25,93% pada musim tanam II.
This study aims to determine the
types and levels of parasitization of yellow stem borer (S. incertulas) egg parasitoids in Purworejo Regency. The research
was conducted in five sub-districts: Purworejo, Gebang, Loano, Banyuurip, and
Bener during the first planting season of 2022/2023 and the second planting
season of 2023. The research method involved selecting 3 plots from each
sub-district. Observations were carried out in the nursery and vegetative
phases of each plot. Field and laboratory observations were conducted to
determine the number of yellow stem borers, types and quantities of
parasitoids, and their parasitization rates. Each plot sampled 10 nursery plots
during the seeding phase and an area of 800 m² during the vegetative phase at
7-21 days after planting. Observations during the vegetative phase were
conducted at 1, 2, and 3 weeks after planting. Variables observed included the
number of egg clusters found, types and quantities of parasitoids emerged, and
their parasitization rates. The findings of the study revealed that three types
of egg parasitoids, namely Telenomus
sp., Trichogramma sp., and Tetrastichus sp., parasitized the yellow
stem borer (S. incertulas Walker) in
Purworejo District. The parasitization rates for these parasitoids were as
follows: Telenomus sp. was observed
at 14.79% during planting season I and 12.96% during planting season II, Trichogramma sp. at 9.96% during
planting season I and 6.30% during planting season II, and Tetrastichus sp. at 28.91% during planting season I and 25.93%
during planting season II.
