Analisis kinerja perawat kontrak dan perawat tetap (PNS) dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan di RSUD Wates Kulon Progo

2004 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan MasyarakatLatar Belakang : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja perawat kontrak dan perawat tetap(PNS) dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan dan menganalisis motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan serta untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kinerrja antara perawat kontrak dengan perawat PNS. Metoda Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang mengungkapkan secara deskriptif analitik perawat kontrak dan PNS yang melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan serta dilakukan juga pengisian kuesioner dan wawancara dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 57 orang perawat PNS dan 35 orang perawat kontrak pada Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Wates Kulon Progo. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 orang yang terdiri dari perawat dengan pendidikan D3 Akademi Perawat (Akper) yang kontrak 19 orang dan PNS 15 orang. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa motivasi perawat kontrak rata-rata baik(57,9%) dan motivasi perawat PNS rata-rata sedang(86,7%), serta tingkat kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan baik(94,1%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa hubungan faktor motivasi intrinsik dengan kinerja ( r= 0,082, p= 0,453 ) tidak bermakna,hubungan faktor motivasi ekstrinsik dengan kinerja ( r=0,145, Honor p= 0,605 ) juga tidak bermakna. Tetapi terdapat adanya perbedaan kinerja antara perawat kontrak dan perawat PNS dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan dengan rata-rata perawat PNS memiliki kinerja lebih tinggi dari pada kinerja perawat kontrak ( t= -2,713, p=0,011 ) dan terdapat juga perbedaan kinerja antara perawat yang berstatus kawin memiliki rata-rata kinerja lebih tinggi dari pada kinerja perawat yang tidak kawin (t= 5,773 ,p= 0,000). Perawat yang berstatus kawin didominasi oleh perawat PNS. Kesimpulan : Kinerja perawat baik kontrak maupun PNS dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan baik, sedangkan motivasi perawat baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja asuhan keperawatan juga baik walaupun tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna karena masih ada faktor lain diluar, yang berpengaruh pada kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Adanya perbedaan kinerja perawat kontrak dan perawat PNS dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan di RSUD Wates. RSUD Wates akan memberikan perlakuan yang sama antara perawat kontrak dan perawat PNS baik dalam kesempatan yang berhubungan dengan profesi sebagai perawat maupun karir.
Background : This study is purposed to analyze performance of contract nurse and nurse officer (government officer) in giving nursing care, to analyze intrinsic and extrinsic motivation those influence toward nurse performance in giving nursing care and to understand whether there is difference of performance between contract nurse and nurse officer. Method: This study is a case study that revealed, descriptively and analytically, contract nurse and nurse officer those perform nursing care and also there are questionnaires filling and interview with cross-sectional design. Population of this study consist of 57 nurse officer and 35 contract nurse in patient Department Hospital of Wates District Hospital of Kulonprogo. The samples of this study are 34 people that consist of 19 contract nurse and 15 nurse officer, all the nurses are graduated from Nursing Academic in diploma degree. Result: The result in descriptive analysis show that average motivation of contract nurse is good (57.9%) and that of nurse officer is moderate (86.7%), and level of nurse performance in giving nursing care is good (94.1%). The result in statistical test show that correlation between intrinsic motivation factor and performance (r=0.082, p=0,453) is not significant and correlation between extrinsic motivation factor and performance (r=0.145, p=0,605) is not significant too. But there is difference of performance between contract nurse and nurse officer in giving nursing care with average of nurse officer have higher performance than that of contract nurse (t=-2.173, p=0.011) and also there is difference of performance between nurses with marriage status and those with unmarried status (t=5.773, p=0.000). The married nurses are predominant of nurse officer. Conclusions: Performance of nurse whether contract or officer in giving nursing care is good, whereas nurse motivation whether intrinsic or extrinsic one that affect toward nursing care performance is good also although there is not significant correlation because there are some other factors that have influence toward nurse performance in giving nursing care. There is difference of performance between contract nurse and nurse officer in giving nursing care in Wates District Hospital. Wates District Hospital will give equal treatment toward contract nurse and nurse officer whether in opportunity that is associated with profession as nurse or in carrier.
