PERBANDINGAN PENILAIAN KONDISI DAN PREDIKSI SISA UMUR LAYAN JEMBATAN PCI GIRDER DENGAN PEDOMAN PEMERIKSAAN JEMBATAN DAN BCR (Studi Kasus: Overpass Ruas Tol Solo Km 00+50 – Km 495+170)

Bridge infrastructure is vital link between regions in Indonesia. Based on this information, we need a method to maintain and preserve the bridge so that it is always in good condition and fulfill the planned service life. In Indonesia, one of the ways to assess bridges is through visual inspection which is described in the 2022 Bridge Inspection Guidelines. Beside that, there is another assessment method used in another countries in the form of Bridge Condition Rating or called BCR. Researchers want to know whether the BCR method used in other countries is superior to the one used in Indonesia. Based on this, the researcher aims to compare the two methods to find out whether there are parameters that can be used as benchmarks.
This research was conducted on six PCI girder overpass bridges on Solo toll road which is supported by primary data in the form of surveys and secondary data. Researchers used the Bridge Inspection Guidelines assessment method which has a value of 0 to 5 and BCR which has a value of 0 to 9 to produce a total value of the bridge condition. Apart from that, researchers also tried to make modifications based on previous methods. Then, the values obtained will be given recommendations for appropriate handling and priority. Not only the condition value, this research also discusses the differences in criteria for several parameters, handling priorities and predicted results of remaining service life.
The research results show a comparison of 6 aspects of the BCR, Bridge Inspection Guidelines and modifications. The first aspect is that the hierarchy of elements in the bridge guideline has the advantage of being more detailed. Secondly, the number of elements checked by the guidelines is greater. Third, the guideline inspection method has a more detailed reference because there are additional special inspections. Fourth, in assessment number the BCR has shown advantage of being a more precise , this is shown through the condition value. If based on the bridge guidelines, the condition value of the Ngasem bridge is 2, modification is 2, then the BCR is 5.402. Fifth, the prediction of remaining service life for BCR has a wider range. Sixth, the modified assessment results can be taken into consideration because of the wide range and simpler assessment method.
