Pengaruh Jumlah Lapisan Bonding dan Coating pada Immediate Dentin Sealing terhadap Kekuatan Geser Pelekatan Lithium Disilicate

Kekuatan ikatan antara gigi dengan restorasi vinir indirek sangat tergantung pada kualitas ikatan antara bahan bonding dengan permukaan gigi. Lithium disilicate merupakan material keramik yang sering digunakan pada restorasi vinir indirek. Teknik immediate dentin sealing (IDS) merupakan aplikasi bahan bonding pada gigi segera setelah selesai dilakukan preparasi. Beberapa variabel yang memengaruhi kekuatan ikatan teknik IDS antara lain ketebalan lapisan bonding dan penggunaan coating. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah lapisan bonding dan coating pada teknik IDS terhadap kekuatan geser pelekatan lithium disilicate. Sampel penelitian adalah 28 gigi premolar yang dibagi dalam empat kelompok. Preparasi sampel gigi dilakukan pada bagian bukal hingga dentin terbuka. Pada kelompok IA dilakukan aplikasi 1 lapis bonding tanpa coating, kelompok IB dilakukan aplikasi 1 lapis bonding dengan coating, kelompok IIA dilakukan aplikasi 2 lapis bonding tanpa coating dan kelompok IIB dilakukan aplikasi 2 lapis bonding dengan coating. Selanjutnya dilakukan sementasi diskus lithium disilicate dengan semen resin dual-cure. Uji kekuatan geser pelekatan dilakukan dengan universal testing machine. Hasil penelitian dilakukan uji ANAVA dua jalur dan Post-Hoc LSD dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil uji ANAVA dua jalur menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara jumlah lapisan bonding, penggunaan coating dan interaksi jumlah lapisan bonding dan coating terhadap kekuatan geser pelekatan lithium disilicate (p<0>

The bond strength between tooth and indirect veneer restoration depends on the quality of the bond between bonding material and tooth surface. Lithium disilicate is ceramic material that often used in indirect veneer restoration. Immediate dentin sealing (IDS) technique is the application of bonding material on teeth immediately after preparation. Some variables that affect bond strength of the IDS technique include the thickness of the bonding layer and the use of coating. This study aims to determine effect of number of bonding and coating layer on the IDS technique on the shear bond strength of lithium disilicate. The research sample was 28 premolars divided into 4 groups. Tooth was prepared on the buccal part until the dentin exposed. In group IA, the application of 1 layer of bonding without coating was carried out, group IB was carried out the application of 1 layer of bonding with coating, group IIA was carried out the application of 2 layers of bonding without coating and group IIB was carried out the application of 2 layers of bonding with coating. Next, cementation of lithium disilicate discs with dual-cure resin cement was carried out. The shear bond strength test was carried out using a universal testing machine. The results of the study were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test and Post Hoc LSD with a 95% confidence level.
